    What a spectacular property. It is a small luxury hotel overlooking the river in Chiang Mai. My jaw dropped upon opening the door to our suite. Just wow. Large separate kitchen, dining, living room, a walk through bathroom and wardrobe and large bedroom, and balcony overlooking the pool, restaurant and river. Extremely comfortable bed, incredibly attentive and friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble. Our dinner at the Malao Malao restaurant was a delicious, plentiful set menu and served with a smile. Each dish was an art work. Breakfast was a choice of having in restaurant or room. Wasn’t going to let that beautiful dining room table in our room go to waste if they were going to serve it to us in there. Highly recommend this place to anyone. They offer private driver to anywhere. Our guide on our day tour accommodated my every request on things I wanted to see and added recommendations. Cannot rave highly enough on this property. So clean and quiet. Peaceful escape from the city centre.     Peaceful, luxurious, spacious, charming, very homey! Staff are friendly, speak good english, hospitable! Great amenities in the room. Great sunrise view from the room and balcony. 7/11 just across the street. Good thai restaurant by the riverside just about 1 km from the hotel. Great buffet breakfast! it is pre-order until late night so it is freshly cook when served.     I recently stayed at Riverside in Chiang Mai and had a wonderful experience! The rooms are beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.One of the highlights was the free shuttle service to Old Town, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. The breakfast offered was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options available, which was a great bonus for us.The only downside I encountered was the lack of a gym facility, which would have been a nice addition for workout enthusiasts. However, this minor drawback did not overshadow the overall quality of my stay.I highly recommend Riverside in Chiang Mai for anyone looking for a pleasant getaway with beautiful accommodations and excellent service!     Great hotel, but a bit far from town

    The staff were incredibly nice and helpful even though there was a language barrier at times. The suite was very comfortable and it was nice to stay in an apartment-style room after a few weeks of traditional hotel rooms! The breakfast at the restaurant was great, although, what they call a “buffet” isn’t laid out as a traditional buffet. We went to the spa and had some great massages. My one qualm would be the hotel’s distance from the center of town. On a map I thought it would be much closer, but it is pretty isolated, so you don’t have the option to wander around straight out the door.     This boutique hotel is wonderful! The staff are attentive and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. The apartments are immaculate, kudos to the cleaning team. We ordered breakfast to be served in our room and it was well presented and delicious. I stayed in a few hotels in Thailand and this was my absolute favourite. The location is not walkable but that didn’t bother us, the hotel provided a car into town and the night market or we sometimes used the Bolt App. Would stay here again.
