    Hidden Gem in the heart of Chiang Mai

    We had wonderful memories of Chiang Mai because of our excellent stay at the Inside House. It’s simply a warm, peaceful and cozy place to stay at. Everything is accessible and just a Grab away. Room service is fast and efficient. Housekeeping is spotless. The Spa has the best Thai massages to ease out the jet lag. Ghin offers intricate and delicious food. Special thanks to Ms. Big who took care of us from the moment we landed at the airport up to the time we checked out. She’s simply amazing. We value the personal touches that truly elevated our experience and made everything extra special. Also, we are very grateful for Ms. Som at Ghin, Ms. Niuy at the Spa, Mr. Dear, Mr. Proof and Ms. Pooh.     Best massage ever!

    Such a great hotel! We stayed in 2 different rooms with pools for 3 nights each and it was a different feel but we loved the variety. I had 2 massages because my massage therapist Fai was so good! I've had a lot of massages over the years but Fai was by far the best massage I've had. I like firm strong massages and I had to ask her to do a little less pressure and I've never had to do that! She was so nice, personable and caring. I couldn't get enough! I haven't had too many Thai massages but I love the stetching! I can't say enough good things about Fai!     My stay at The Inside House was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast had many great options, and the complimentary daily afternoon tea was a lovely touch.The highlight of my stay was definitely the massage. It was honestly 10/10.     Easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in in my life — and I used to be a travel writer! Everything about this hotel was sublime, the attentiveness of the staff, the amenities, the pool in the room — and as a germaphobe, the cleanliness of everything. I couldn't ask for a more picturesque setting for our vacation. I enjoyed the Ala carte breakfast buffet too. But the best part of our stay was probably our interactions with Fai, and at the Inside House spa. She was meticulous, kind, and she made the massages we booked were divine and settled us right to bed. I can't wait to go back!     On First impressions The Inside House is a cross between a colonial Manor House, a 5 star hotel and a luxury restaurant but yet with a relaxed feel like taking a bath on a Sunday afternoon with a nice candle and a glass of something.The service is typically Thai, polite, gracious and first class, never expecting anything in return (except for a tiny tip which goes down well) like a nice cup of tea! The music in the restaurant is bizarre alpine accordion style, like it’s snowing outside.Talking of tea, you get it free every afternoon along with cake, lots of it so be prepared for a calorie catastrophe, but well worth it.The bedrooms have character the shower is as good as any thunderstorm and the roll top bath luxurious.And then there’s the elephants, those cheeky chaps make this place a Dumbo paradise, they are salt and pepper shakers, in the bedroom, bathroom and reception like there little trunks can’t wait to see you again.A joy to visit, a dreamy breakfast, a relaxing pool surrounded by ferns and flowers in the middle of the ChiangMai carnage, count me in.
