Location

The Old City occupies a square area surrounded by ramparts and moats, which are believed to have been constructed during the reign of King Mangrai. There are five gates around the city, with the hotel located at the Pratu Suan Dok Gate, a few minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport, local temples, museums, historical landmarks, the weekend market, pedestrian areas, the foothills of Doi Suthep and the Chiang Mai Zoo.

Facility

36 rooms, including junior suites and 35 double rooms, are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, callisthenics, aerobics, a spa and massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast gives guests many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    Beautiful hotel in a great location! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were smily, polite and helpful - reception and breakfast staff especially great. Rooms were spacious and comfy with a big bath. Extra special was the cat family playing in the gardens with two little kittens made the stay extra special and gave the place a unique feeling and energy

    We had an excellent time at The Rim Chiang Mai, the staff is always ready to help, give tips, and helped us to have a perfect stay! The room was spaceful, and Always clean. It is most probably the best hotel we've been to.

    The service we had here was one of the best in all Thailand. They are incredibly attentive and handle everything professionally and with care.The food was some of the best we had in Chiang Mai.The whole hotel is quite beautiful and very clean. Would definitely come back.
