Such a steal for the price and location

    rating19 Nov 2024

This hotel is so underrated in terms of value for money and location. Nothing to expect much since the price per room per night is very affordable. However, for the price we paid for a deluxe double room, I thought the value we got was such a steal. Room space was still decent for the three of us and an exta mattress. Water and toiletries are provided/replaced everyday. Room cleaning is every day unless requested to be skipped. Location is very near the Thapae gate and night bazaar/markets. There's a 7-11 just across and there are a lot of massage shops and restaurants nearby. Wifi in the room was decent. Reception is manned 24/7.

    Dirty

    rating21 Feb 2020

The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The room was very old and dirty. Didn't looked like the picture. was more expensive to book from the hotel than if we have booked on line. They offerd us coffee in the morning and there is free water.

SCAM ALERT!! Morning Receptionist Tried MANY ways to KEEP My 500 Baht Key Deposit! Read review..

    rating20 Aug 2019

SCAM ALERT!!! SCAM ALERT! The morning receptionist tried keeping my 500 baht key deposit on August 22nd, 2019. So you know this review is coming from a credible guest, I am an expat that spends approximately 6 months every year in Thailand. I speak basic thai, I'm a published travel author, my closest friend owns a hostel in Chiang Mai, and I've encountered nearly every type of scam you can encounter in Southeast Asia. However, this was the closest thing I've ever came to experiencing a SCAM in Chiang Mai (it's expected in places like Bangkok, Pattaya, and elsewhere...but not in Chiang Mai). When I checked in, the night shift receptionist said the 500 baht key deposit couldn't be put on my credit card. That's to-be expected in Thailand. The key deposits are usually kept separately from the cash drawer and the same money you give for your deposit will be returned to you. If you pay your deposit with a half-torn 500 baht bill, a half-torn 500 baht bill will usually be returned to you during checkout. Nonetheless, I paid the 500 baht key deposit, my deposit was put inside the binder where all deposits are kept, and I received a receipt for my room (since I paid for it on my credit card).Long story, short (due to max. length): The receptionist tried to keep my key deposit because I didn't have a key deposit receipt (that wasn't issued during check-in). The receptionist tried many times to get me to walk away without my key deposit. Read full review elsewhere.

    Cheap Style

    rating18 Jul 2018

Nothing special Located next to friends bar. Inexpensive. Nice location on Loi Kroh Rd. Ok if on a budget. It is difficult to say much more about this place other than located near many highly rated restaurants on Loo Kroh rd.

    Good value

    rating20 Mar 2018

Myself and my partner stayed here in mid april. It was quiet and clean. My only issue with the room was the shower, our water was often cold. Being chang mai it got cool at night and in the evening. Besides that issue the room was good, cleaned everyday we stayed there. It was withing walking distance of the night bazzar. It is the "red light" area, however we both had no problems with any noise.
