Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Guests can store valuables in the safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     This place is charming and totally bizarre. We loved our stay there but it's definitely not for those looking for a western-style resort hotel. All of the other guests were Thai tourists and in general it seems like foreign guests are not all that common; however, the owners were friendly, communicative, and helpful.The Good: -Excellent, home-cooked dinners. The owner cooked meals for us personally based around our food allergies, every evening (and a couple mornings!) and did an amazing job. -The area itself is beautiful, and is wonderful to bike around (bike rental is available at nominal cost). -The owner. She is a fantastic cook, very knowledgeable, and friendly.The Average: - Price is a bit high for what it is, and some rooms are rather spare- The outdoor bathrooms are charming and beautiful but take some getting used to. If you don't like the outdoors, reconsider. The Strange: -This place is designed and furnished in a totally eccentric but charming way - very unique, definitely a bit weird. Tons of plants and flowers and water features, though a bit past its prime in general. Definitely a more "countryside" experience than places closer to Chiang Mai. - They arranged a driver for us to take us around the area. He was friendly, but communication was a bit difficult and his knowledge of the area was surprisingly limited. Overall, we're glad we had the experience and would recommend it to the traveler who wants something different and off the beaten path. It's quite isolated, though, and if your time is limited you may want to skip.

    Fantastic place out in the country

    If you want to send a few nights away from it all this could be the place. Sisters Canada & Mid are wonder full hosts. The food was excellent Thai cooking the only complaint was we couldn't manage to eat everything as there was so much. Rooms very clean and really enjoyed the outside bathroom.This is a great place to explore the local countryside and the hot springs are a leisurely hours ride away. There are several places nearby that make their own clothes for sale my wife bought good quality top and 2 pairs trousers 180 baht total.If you are looking for clubs and excitement this is not the place but for quiet and relaxation away from the crowds look no further. Highly recommended.
