  We have been coming to this hotel for many years and way before Tui took over in 2017. The main reason is because of the stunning location which is so beautiful. The talcum powder sand and the unspoilt nature of this beach is a wonder to behold hence keeps drawing us back as you will have a hard job beating it. It is 15 mins taxi ride from Khao Lak but you are not totally isolated as there are 4 nearby restaurants. We were on H/B for the first time and I have to say the food was AMAZING!! So much choice and variation to even keep our fussy Grandkids happy and the team of chefs work so hard to keep the buffet interesting and different every night and they are a real credit to Robinson KL. Also the evening entertainment is exellent and inclusive, you do not feel left out because youre not German and we had some good banter doing the music quiz, and was a fun night as was all the entertainment. We were there for Songkran and the team put on a celebration that was so memorable, so thank you guys for your hard work it was a brilliant day and night. We have only been back 4 days and we have already booked to return again next year, we love this place and the staff make it so special, you will not regret booking this wonderful hotel.   Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location.

  My wife and myself have just returned from a fantastic eight night stay at this wonderful hotel. We stayed in a superior pool villa which we found had everything we could possibly wish for including a beautiful pool and patio area, the room was very spacious and well equipped with a fantastic bathroom with both a rain shower and enormous bath and kept spotlessly clean by the excellent housekeeping team.The resort is quite large but there are buggies available to pick you up and drop you off ( we didn't use this service much as we enjoyed walking around the resort) . The hotels beach was amazing and we enjoyed several strolls along it.We took breakfast in the Terrace restaurant every morning which was excellent with something new to try every morning whilst looking out to sea, we dined most evenings in the Bamboo restaurant which was excellent, we also had a amazing meal in the Japanese restaurant (above the Terrace restaurant) all prepared in front of us. On Songkran evening the hotel prepared a delicious banquet followed by some traditional dancing with beautiful costumes. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and there's also some nice bars either side of the hotel with a short walk along the beach. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the town which we used to visit Bang Niang market for some shopping. All in all a wonderful hotel which I would happily recommend to anyone with great service provided by brilliant staff. On future visits to Khao Lak Robinsons would be the first place that I would book.   We spent two weeks at this most stunning hotel, this was our second visit so we knew what to expect. After a long journey from our home in England, the lovely staff on the front desk got us into our room fairly quickly.Our room on the second floor was just stunning, every morning on our way to breakfast we felt like we were walking through the jungle.We tend to stay bed and breakfast when we travel abroad as we like to venture out and explore. Eating on the beach is really good. Thou this time we ate in the hotel a few times, the chefs at the hotel produce some of the best food we have ever eaten absolutely superb.We would also like to give a massive thankyou to the guys and the one young lady down on the beach and pool area. They are an are an absolute credit to the Robinson, also to the staff at happy hour, great cocktails 🍹.Thank you Robinson we had a great time.Hopefully we will see you next year.   Too big, too crowded, too expensive for what you get.

  This is a big resort, German owned. It was our last stop in Thailand after travelling extensively. It felt less Thai and less friendly than all the others. It needs some serious refurbishment. The pool was not clean. Sun beds were crowded in together along the beach frontage Not for us.   I loved my stay at the resort! The staff is so friendly, the room was clean and felt very cozy. I loved the mattress - I usually wake up with a painful back which was not the case here! Not too hard, not too soft, I couldn't believe that I was completely painfree in the morning. I'm vegetrian and I found plenty of options veg and vegan. The vegan yellow Curry was delicious. Such an amazing breakfast selection... The sunset was so beautiful and the gym was super sufficient, clean and in great condition. All in all a super relaxing experience, I would definitely do it again!
