  Stayed a weekQuiet location but 10 min walk to Main Street with bars and a short drive to night market.Room was lovely, beds firm but can provide a soft mattress topper so was very comfy.Room cleaned each day and had everything by we neededStaff are amazing and can’t do enough for you and the food was lovely.Prices for food and drink were very reasonable and service great.Hotel pool was a good size abs temperature and comfy bedsShame the bar shut so early as due to the rain we didn’t venture out as much as planned of a nightWould recommend - hard to find a place that ticks so many boxes as this with all of the staff friendly, helpful and attentive Pornphimon Ploykhaw, Other at The Leaf Oceanside By Katathani, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you for your wonderful review and for choosing to stay with us for a week.   Relaxing,quiet and enjoyable

  1st time to Thailand, motel and staff were exceptional.My beautiful wife and I stayed for 2weeks here and never had a problem and was always greeted with kindness and a big smile,breakfast was included and was always fresh and delicious,would definitely recommend,especially for the price and location and even if you surf,there was actually 2-3ft waves both sides of the lighthouse coming in with some fun peaks.Dont worry about a board,you can hire short or long boards from the one hire place at one of the resorts on the beach.   Booked this hotel due to the location everthing is close beach 5 min walk across a quite road and shops & reasturants all close by.The reception staff ,hotel porters and all the staff , were amazing very helpful and service with a smile .Hotel grounds and swimming pools are excellent and plenty of sunbeds available around the pool we were here in April 16th for 14 nights so can't say what the pool is like in peak dates.Breakfast was good not a huge selection but all main things are available egg station for omelette, fried ,boiled and Scramble plenty of breads ,croissant for toasting with cold meats and cheese avaliable. Normal tea and coffee selection fresh juices , fruit & cereal available including a few Thai dishes .Pool snacks are excellent and not overpriced. From 11 am till 6pm drinks from bar were 2 for 1 all iced cocktails and a further list of cocktails for only 109 bht.Last but not least the rooms are a bit dated but large n spacious with all requirements including a large fridge and were cleaned everyday to a high standard. The pool area and gardens are well kept and a lovely area to relax.Would I return 100% it ticked our box .   Good hotel, good location.Rooms are spacious/clean although balconies on upper level are quite small and feel closed off. Beds are comfortable and water available in the room. Towels provided for pool.Food and drink selection is good including breakfast. Items are charged to your room to pay on checkout.Staff are great, language barrier is overcome by using translate apps and there is one member of staff Amm who spoke great English.Location is close to the centre, 5 mins walk up hill to shops and bars.Beach is across the road, no beds provided but close enough and it’s a nice sandy beach.Pool is great, always bed available- there are signs advising not to reserve longer than 1 hour but didn’t see towels removed. Smoking is allowed one side of the pool.Staff bring drinks to you if ordered at the bar.Laundrette available on site 50 baht.Service charge is included with everything you buy- personally not a fan of this as would prefer to know the tips are going direct to the staff. This wasn’t included in any other hotels we stayed at on our trip.The lady in reception books trips which is great however I do not think a hotel which prides itself on sustainability etc should be offering a trip to see tigers who are drugged. I found this very distasteful. We did use the ladies services to go to the turtle sanctuary and temple which was great.   I had a wonderful experience at Leaf Oceanside Khao Lak. It’s a place where everything just clicks!​Exceptional Food: The breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety. I have to highlight the chefs and the waiting staff—they are true masters of their craft! They were incredibly professional and made every meal a pleasure.​Perfect Location: The hotel is located very close to the beach, which is a huge plus for anyone looking to enjoy the sea and beautiful sunsets.​Comfort & Hygiene: I was impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was. Also, the beds are incredibly comfortable, which made a big difference in the quality of my rest.​Atmosphere: The vibe is very friendly and welcoming. You can feel that the staff genuinely cares about the guests.​I highly recommend Leaf Oceanside to anyone visiting Khao Lak! Thank you amazing people's!
