The beach hotel is located on Koh Chang, the second largest island in Thailand, only about 300 km east of Bangkok. The island is conveniently accessible either by car directly or by air from Bangkok to Trat Airport plus a final short transfer by car and ferry.

The resort has a lift and features 50 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and fishing are available. With snorkelling and diving available, the resort also caters to water sports enthusiasts. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and callisthenics. A spa, a sauna and massage treatments are available in the wellness area.

The resort includes a restaurant and a bar. The resort offers a wide range of catering options. Half board and full board can be booked.     Wonderful stay – we ended up staying for six nights!Originally, we had planned to stay at Santhiya Tree Resort on Koh Chang for just one night. However, we liked it so much that we decided to extend our stay to a total of six nights – which really says it all!The atmosphere throughout the resort is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The entire property is very well maintained and especially beautiful thanks to the abundance of lush green plants. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.We also really enjoyed the breakfast. We often had dinner at the restaurant as well, which offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The food was very good, and the atmosphere in the evening was simply wonderful.We would especially like to highlight the entire staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. A very special thank you goes to Sonja, who took care of our son and provided medical assistance after he had a fall. We truly appreciated her kindness, care, and willingness to help.We would also like to mention the three waiters, Eddie, Tiyan, and Imam. They were always incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous, and they made our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, we felt completely at home at Santhiya Tree Resort and would happily come back anytime. What was originally planned as a one-night stay turned into six wonderful nights – we highly recommend this resort!

    I can only confirm the thousands of positive reviews about the Santhiya Tree Koh Chang Resort! We stayed for 12 days at this stunning resort, whose architecture is inspired by the Northern elegance and the spirit of Southern Thailand. The photos you can find online truly reflect the charm and harmony of this place. Of course, all this would not be possible without the presence of the numerous and ever-present Staff. It's truly difficult to thank everyone for their courtesy, from Mr. Style at the reception for your support, the staff at the Saaitara restaurant, who delighted us with fantastic breakfasts, to the hospitality and professionalism of the Chantara restaurant's Maître Mr. Zin, and all the waiters, always present and attentive, the excellent masseuses Mrs. Lala and Mrs. Nim and the Spa manager, and the excellent housekeeping staff (we were in one of the fantastic Hideaway Pool Villa 1112). We're already thinking of visiting another Resort of this Group, perhaps on Koh Phangan, or, why not, returning to Koh Chang. Doris & Carlo

    This resort was a very relaxing stay for my family and I. It has beautiful pools and gardens and a great atmosphere. It was also very quiet when we came making it more relaxing. The food at the restaurants was also very good. This is all made better by the lovely friendly staff that work here. I am definitely going to come back at some point.

    This hotel oozes atmosphere. It's a little older but full of hand crafted charm. We stayed in a private pool suite overlooking the river. It's only a short walk to the beach. The hotel is off the main road so it's quiet. We hired a motorbike from the hotel and this was easy and quite cheap. The included breakfast was beautiful. We will definitely remember this is a unique and beautiful experience.

    We went to have a lunch at the restaurant. The food was amazing the service as well. Nate was amazing. He provide excellent service.
