    Checked in and immediately out. Broken AC leaking water as soon as we got into the room. Overwhelming fake fragrance to hide the mold smell. Water damage and dirty. Water holding tank outside is broken and dirty, owner claims its filtered but water smells so bad. Towels smelt horrible, which we now understand why as they are dried improperly in the back.... the owner was rude and happy to take our money with no refund policy, as we had no choice but to move hotels and not stay. There is nothing "boutique" about this hotel, its a scam. While we take all feedback seriously, we must stand by the facts and the professionalism of our staff.Out of the thousands of guests we have hosted, we have never encountered an experience quite like this. To be clear, the request for a refund was not due to the quality of our rooms, but rather a sudden change in the guest's personal travel plans.The Facts of the Situation:Booking Commitment: This room was reserved specifically for this guest over three months in advance. During that time, we turned away many other bookings (valued at 4,000–5,600 THB per night) to honor this reservation.The Refund Request: Upon arrival, the guest decided she wished to stay elsewhere for personal reasons unrelated to our property. When we followed our standard policy and declined a last-minute refund for a stay we had held for months, the guest became upset.The Allegations: We believe the complaints raised in this review are a direct result of our refusal to grant an impossible refund. The photos and issues mentioned are either exaggerated or involve areas that are not part of the hotel property.We understand that travel plans can change, but it is unfair to penalize a small business and its hard-working staff because a guest suddenly changes their mind.     Fantastic service in Koh Lanta

    An amazing couple of days In Koh Lanta staying at this hotel. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach which has a large selection of bars/ restaurants. The manager (forgotten his name) could not have done enough for us. We were a bit concerned about the lock on our bedroom door, after expressing our concern we left the hotel to get dinner. When we returned, the lock had been completely replaced / fixed. This enhanced our overall experience in Koh Lanta, as it proves the people of the island care so much about those who visit. The moped rental would also be fantastic to those who need it (if they can drive them 😅… we had a bit of an accident) However , this once again was dealt with efficiently and we couldn’t have asked for better service in Koh Lanta. Thank you so much again!

    Came here alone and loved it! The hotel is quiet, rooms are clean, and staff are helpful. Great spot to relax and explore Koh Lanta. Small rooms, but perfect if you’re just here to chill.

    Stayed with the fam for a few nights. Kids were hyped about the pool. Rooms were decent size, super clean. Breakfast had all the good stuff pancakes, fruit, eggs. Super close to the beach, so we could stroll anytime. Chill family spot.

    Perfect Spot for a Family Koh Lanta Trip

    This is our second time to Koh Lanta, and the options at this hotel are much better than the last place we stayed. The rooms are great, clean and fresh. The hotel also had several food options that worked for our kids, not always easy - especially on a small place like Koh Lanta. If you are going with the family, want walking distance beaches - this worked great for us!
