Summer Resort Koh Phangnan - Avoid!

Hotel swimming pool was a biohazard. Full of algae. Been like that for several days, yet nobody says in advance. Staff and management do not care. Milky B, at Summer Luxury Beach Resort & Spa, responded to this review Dear JohnWe apologise for the pool during your stay.Our pool is usually immaculate except we have a pump failure and had to fefill the pool with new water and once the water turns it takes a few days to rectify so its not that the staff did nothing it is unfortunately a case of getting the water balance back again and believe me it was of high priority as we value our standards and service to our guests.

I read the bad reviews and panicked and cannot understand where these people were staying. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are large. The beds are big, the staff can’t do enough for you, especially San Oo and Hugo who looked after me and my husband so well. Any issue we had was addressed straight away, with complimentary cocktails for a minor issue. Towels were refreshed every day. No issue with getting fresh pool towels. Pool was lovely, some lovely places to eat nearby and the hotel restaurant food is delicious. Would 100% come back here and thank you so much for looking after us! beautyful stay and very friendly staff

My partner and I spent a few days at Summer Luxury, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food is simply exquisite — the cuisine is of an excellent standard, and the staff are exceptionally friendly.The spa is beautifully designed, and you can enjoy fantastic massages. The pool is also very inviting for a swim. The rooms are clean and are thoroughly serviced every day.Highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

The staff is amazing. The cocktails and breakfast are excellent. Everything is just as good as in the pictures. Simply stay and enjoy! Only downside is the footpath from hotel to the main road but that is manageable as well.
