Location

Bo Phut beach is one of Koh Samui's best kept secrets. Located on the north shore it is about 20 minutes from the airport, vibrant night spots and shopping in Chaweng. It is also an easy stroll to Fisherman's Village along the beach or by the Bo Phut beach road. The Temple of the Big Buddha and the Grandma and Grandpa Stone can both be easily reached by car, while the International Marine Park (Ang Thong) is about 40 minutes away by speed boat.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Whether in need of rest and relaxation or more activity, guests can swim a few lengths of one of the 2 outdoor pools, while children have a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers beach volleyball. With water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and snorkelling available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton and billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a steam bath. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For dinner, guests can order à la carte. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

I had an amazing experience with Yuk & Mild teaching my daughter Thai boxing and leaning the Thai language, would definitely recommend. They are both friendly and very knowledgeable.

Samui Bliss!

Koh Samui has been our week of relaxation after exploring Bangkok and Chiang Mai. We have loved Bandara and we wish we had booked longer!We treated ourselves to a courtyard plunge pool room, which has been fabulous. The room is spacious with plenty of storage and a gorgeous outside courtyard area! Housekeeping are amazing, responding to requests promptly. The pools are all beautiful - We have relaxed at the beach pool, the larger family pool, and on the beach and all have been lovely. The gardeners keep the grounds beautifully and are all very friendly. It’s just so very calm and relaxing. The staff have been wonderful:Tim has been excellent throughout our week, helping us plan a day exploring the island, recommending spa treatments and just generally being a lovely, happy lady greeting us daily and checking in with us.Nat - our lovely driver (and photographer) for our island tour was such a friendly, happy, smiley chap.Kew - our breakfast chef served beautiful, well presented, delicious food. He obviously takes great pride in his work! Moo, serving drinks, with a huge smile, around the pool.And finally Nam and Mint at Shine Spa - absolutely beautiful experiences in a wonderfully calm setting.
