Location

This beach hotel is located on the peaceful northern section of the white sands of Chaweng beach and is in the immediate vicinity of countless restaurants. Night owls are recommended to visit the nightclubs situated about 500 m from the hotel, while the town centre can be reached on foot in about a 15-minutes walk along the beach. It is roughly 5 km to Koh Samui airport.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 80 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. The pool area also includes a hot tub, a waterslide and a pool bar. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball and crazy golf are available. With windsurfing and canoeing available, the resort also caters to water sports enthusiasts. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A spa, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments are available in the wellness area. A kids' club and a dance club are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as a set menu, and guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu for dinner. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful resort the team cannot do enough for you and youre always greeted with a happy smile . The rooms (ours was 104) are spacious with superb air conditioning a good size bathroom and a minibar. Pool side service from Jampen, Pink and the team is excellent from 8am through to 11pm . The breakfast while repetitive gives plenty of options and Fern will cook egg dishes fresh to your order (fried, poached, scrambled, omelette...) the hotel is literally on the shoreline so choice between the crystal clear sea or pool is a hard decision... 7eleven is only a 6 minute walk away if you want snacks for trips. Free WiFi throughout tge complex on 2.4 and 5 g

    Lovely hotel, excellent staff and amazing food. Nice relaxing atmosphere and you can do as much or as little as you want. Room was spotless and could be cleaned every day, any problems were sorted immediately.The only downside for me was that there wasn’t any sand in front of the bar as sea came right up to hotel wall

    This was my second stay & it was just as good as the 1st!Two weeks staying in a deluxe villa, they gave me exactly the same room as last year which was wonderful. The room was perfect as it is a stones throw to the pool, beach, bar & restaurant. I did all of the tourist stuff last year so this time around, I spent a lot more time at the hotel & around the pool. The on site massages are great. Although I absolutely love the hotel itself, the best part of it all is the staff. All of them are lovely but in particular I’d like to mention TukTuk - always smiling and a lovely lady and Jampen & Pum - both great lads who are always happy & smiley. Can’t wait to go back again next year!

    Loved Chaba! We stayed in the Family Suite (2 adults, 2 kids 9 and 5 years) which was massive. Breakfast was excellent, pool was great and beach was lovely.The customer service here is outstanding, it felt genuine and warm and the wonderful Jampen by the pool was an absolute delight. S the Operations Manager was incredible, friendly and so welcoming. All staff were just A1.The massage by the pool was excellent too. Could not really fault this place. Really easy to get into the middle of Chaweng on foot road side (be prepared for a couple of steep hills which you can’t escape in Koh Samui), catch a tuk tuk (more expensive than we remembered but loved kicking around in them) or walk along the beach (when high tide you’ll need to wade through the water for a bit, which might be challenging but in day time it’s fine).It’s Koh Samui - hills and stairs dominate so be aware if this is an issue. Our room was on the 3rd floor, manageable but happy to have a break from those stairs 🥴Lots of rooms on ground level too so options for everyone. But a lovely place to stay. Our room was closer to reception which the street noise was loud so if you’re a light sleeper, this might be an issue but no problems for us although we did notice it. Great car rental guy at top of road, and a few restaurants close by where the food was fab. Khao Kate being one, and the one on opposite side of the road.Really enjoyed being what it seemed the mid-point between Chaweng and Fisherman’s Village - all very easy to get to.Happy to have booked Chaba Cabana :)

    Had a lovely 3 week stay at the chaba cabana. Perfectly situated in chewang with great restaurants, bars and shops locally , but still with easy access to central Samui . Hotel staff on the whole were very friendly and accommodating, the members of staff who gave exceptional service, were Jampen at poolside who is an absolute credit to this hotel, and could not do enough for every single guest, he is an absolute star, we’d also like to mention Chloe at reception who was so friendly and helpful during our stay, and the ever hard working Joy the gardener. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would definitely return. The only reason we have dropped a star as breakfasts were very repetitive, fruit selection was the same 3 fruits every day, on saying that you could always find something for breakfast. Also could do with a freshening up with paintwork. Thank you to all at Chaba Cabana for a fabulous holiday.Julie and Karen room 226
