Location

This bungalow complex is situated directly beside the beautiful, white sand beach. The town centre as well as countless shops, restaurants, bars, and small supermarkets can be easily reached in a few minutes on foot. Transfer to Koh Samui Airport takes about 30 minutes (roughly 20 km from the hotel).

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 72 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers beach volleyball. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton and aerobics. A spa, a sauna and massage treatments are available in the wellness area.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a dining room and a bar. Full board can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a dinner à la carte offer plenty of delicious variety.

    Booked but closed down when arrived.

    Hotel was closed and barricaded. Booked in January for 6 days start Feb 22 through Agoda. No advice from them or hotel that they closed down for a month. It is peak season and we have to pay triple price when we finally found a vacancy. Traumatised.

    We came to the hotel 07 February 2024. We had booked with booking.com for 14 days. The hotel was closed. Booking.com contacted the hotel and they said that they were overbooked. That was a lie as I went into the hotel and can confirm that it was cli.

    Scamming clients - stay away

    I will have to warn you about this hotel. We made a reservation in mid-May, and had to pay a deposit of THB 555,- The cancellation policy stated at their website and also at the confirmation says that room must be cancelled at least 5 days prior to arrival. Due to chance in plans we had to cancel the rooms. This is not possible through their website, despite the information given on the reservation.We have now tried to cancel the room for two weeks, but there is absolutely no respond from the hotel. They are consequently ignoring any e-mail regarding cancellations. We have now had to contact Mastercard to report the hotel for fraud attempt. The amount is not that much, but we do not know if they will charge more when we will not show up, as they are not answering.I will strongly warn anyone about this hotel as they are doing this kind of fraud or scam towards guests.

    A good choice in Cahweng beach

    For the price, Chaweng Resort is the best in Chaweng beach north side.My stay took place during a period of very low occupancy, so some hotel services were not working, such as beach facilities, or working with limitations such as the restaurant/bar. As for the location, the hotel, both in terms of Beach road or the beach itself, for me it is the best one.Certainly I would stay there once again if the prices were similar to what I paid this time...

    Old, in desperate need of a makeover!!

    We booked the self contained 1 bedroom villa with plunge pool & jacuzzi / spa / “COLD” tub. Really an open plan bungalow with separate kitchen and bathroom.Yes it was private, but in desperate need of some TLC. Spa not working on arrival and no hot water in shower and kitchen sink this took two attempts to remedy by day three fixed! Kitchen stove, microwave bench top not very clean. Just old and poorly maintained.Overall the resort was in very poor condition pathways broken/uneven and somewhat dangerous. Restaurant open for breakfast then till 6pm. If breakfast was anything to go by eat somewhere else.Breakfast might be included but the options are quite poor. Pool area again requires an overhaul.On the upside which was a rarity, maintenance staff, housekeeping and hospitality staff were friendly amusing and helpful not so much the reception staff. Good location close to 50 odd restaurants within easy walking distance. 7-11s nearby.Roads and footpaths in the area are generally in very poor condition.This was once probably a grand dame of a resort but it appears it is an old lady and has just been left to wither and die!
