Location

This resort is set amongst the coconut groves of sandy Maenam Beach, the perfect place for ultimate relaxation and comfort. The town centre of Maenam is only a 30-minute walk away. It is some 7 km to Chaweng and Samui Airport is only 15 km away.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 6 suites and 72 double rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Guests of the complex are welcome to relax in the garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Active guests can enjoy cycling/mountain biking. Guests can partake in various water sports, including snorkelling and diving. In addition, paddle boating is offered for a fee. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, badminton and darts. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can dine at the non-smoking restaurant, which includes a separate area for smokers (high chairs are available). Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. The resort also offers picnics.

    Old and a waste of money

    Old and out dated. We booked a pool villa. After 2 days we had a water damage in the bathroom. They didn’t fix it and when we asked to be moved to a different villa we got an old one with insects, mosquitoes, non closing doors, rain coming in. A water heater that kept us up all night. Palm trees being cut down and debris falling on our terrace and no one cleaned it up. We got no apologies, no refunds or upgrades.     We loved Fair House. The villa was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Boss who helped with booking our scooter hire and spa treatments. Also a special mention to Nate in the restaurant, he remembered our names and gave us recommendations on where to visit on the island. The location was beautiful and close to the Fishermen’s Village market. We highly recommend this property and will definitely visit again.     We had a wonderful holiday at Fairhouse Villas and Spa. The food was very nice and staff so friendly and obliging. In fact , three staff members made our holiday very memorable; those people being Nate, Way and Jack. Such nice young men, with impeccable manners and funny on occasion.
