    The staff at J4 Samui have been very helpful and nice and will help you with anything they helped out a lot with my missing suitcase and nothing was a bother I did buy that person some chocolates as a thanks and my cleaning lady Nam is fantastic really nice polite very helpful and good at what she does if I ever come back I would come back here for all of this niceness

    I would never ever stay here so close to the strip and the Ark Bar as the noise is horrendous even in our room we are practically on the strip it’s that close starts at 7pm till at least 5am then we have the workmen during the day on the roof or next door drilling so all in all defo not a relaxing holiday more like a European one no Thai culture this part at all which is sad. Tiny hotel and as someone said you have to climb up to your bed it’s like a platform all round. Cleaners were fantastic. Our view with a balcony was a brick wall I kid you not. No pool so you share with next doors nice pool not a lot of sunbeds and towels on them earjy. Couldn’t see the Beach the whole week due to the high tides but that can’t be helped. Not cheap here pretty much like U.K. prices and taxis expensive. As I say if you want party central it’s definately for you. I won’t be returning to this area at all will look for other areas.

    Very noisy so unless you are out partying all night it would be best to avoid.The bed is an odd design. You have to climb on and off it.Low pressure shower.Male receptionist very rude.No lift.Insufficient towels.The room was found to be clean.

    We booked 2 rooms for 8 days. But the very first day my Mom passed away. But the hotel refeused to REFUND for 7 days. I was Consultant for Hospitlaity industry for 35 years. It's so Sad that customer service is so poor these days.

    Stayed more than a week.5-7 minutes from airport. Yes you will hear the planes land-takeoff but thats inevitable for Chaweng.Situated at the heart of Chaweng beach, access to zillions of bars restaurants markets fastfood..etcAdjacent to Arkbar, #1 party place in Chaweng. So you can go and come back there by stepping out of your door basically. Yes, there will be music in your room but when you close the balcony and bathroom door, it is minimized. I wasnt disturbed. And they turn it off after 3am until 23.Rooms: clean, nicely decorated. More than enough. AC performance is good! Bathroom is good, little more light for the bathroom mirror would be better!Housekeeping very good!Reception very good!Access to beach is very easy, a short walk inside the resort.No idea about breakfast, i had it outside.If you are there for party-fun, this would be a very good option. If u have kids, or sensitive to noise, go to Lamai beach or others.
