  Putrid sewage issue & now ignoring all our contact attempts to get the refund they promised us as it was not safe.

  I am writing this review in hopes that the hotel might finally respond to my contact attempts. We booked for a few nights but upon arrival we were checked into a room on the ground floor that had a serious sewage issue. The toilet, shower & sink all emitted a putrid sewage smell and no matter what we did we couldn’t fix it. We went straight back to reception, the staff all laughed with each other as if they were expecting us to come back. They told us there was nothing they could do about the smell so we asked if we could go to another room. The smell was so awful you couldn’t even stand in the room as it was constantly coming out of the bathroom. They told us they had no other rooms available. After some back and fourth the staff agreed that the room was not fit for stay and offered us a refund so we could find other accommodation as they didn’t have a room for us. They gave us an email to contact to retrieve our refund and we have video evidence of them offering a refund. We contacted the email with our evidence multiple times but have not had a single response so am having to take to a public review.

  The staff were friendly. The location is right on the beach. There are many restaurants bars and business within a five minute walk.

  What a great place to stay, fully booked but you would never know as there is just so much space. The place is located on the beach and has a decent pool as well. It’s clean tidy and staff are all very friendly and helpful. We even got the chance to get our clothes washed for a small fee which was great. Rooms are spacious and clean, the whole place is just amazing and deserves to be a five star not a four. We are still here for a few days and now wishing we had booked longer as we just feel at home with it all. Cannot fault it one bit

  Exactly what we were hoping for 😊

  We arrived around 10.30 pm, check in was swift and painless, we were taken straight to our gorgeous little bungalow which was lovely and clean (a105) which is beachfront centre absolutely perfect. The bed was huge and very comfortable, air conditioning worked perfectly and was very efficient, full Size fridge ( 2 bottles of water supplied daily) kettle with tea and coffee, safe ( free to use) , hairdryer, beach bag with beach towels, tv with loads of channels, free Wi-Fi, shampoo and body wash also supplied daily, lovely fresh clean towels. We opted for breakfast which as we were there last week of November it was choose from a menu ( dec 1st was the start of the buffet breakfasts) . We originally booked for 1 week as never been to ko samui before but loved it so much we stayed for our 2nd week too. Location was perfect for what we wanted , the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, it was lovely and quiet, we were centre of lamai beach..The only thing i would like to suggest would be that they add a little hand held sweeping brush to each bungalow so that you can get all the sand off feet and decking as we tried wiping feet off outside but always managed to walk some in and we could have swept it up 😊. 1 minute walk up the private roadway and you were out on the Main Street, turn right and it was a 10 min walk down to the night food market ( lots of food and drink places along the street) turn left and again lots of shops , restaurants and bars . We ate at the market several times, all food was piping hot and tasty, we went in the Indian right opposite the end of private road, food was tasty and portions large, the food in the Bondi Aussie bar was superb on the nights we fancied burger, also walked along the beach and ate at "the new hut" again good here lovely hot and very tasty . Every where we went the staff were all very attentive and welcoming. Never once had a problem with any food. Went on the pig island sunset your wit TK Tours - again we were well treated, had a lovely afternoon , picked up and taken back to our accommodation by their minibus ( trip was 1500 bht each) . Would we go back ? Absolutely 👍 the grounds were all well kept and everywhere was lovely and clean. The beach dogs are fun to watch especially the little one that likes to pinch shoes 😂 the restaurant also does happy hour cocktails which were the best we had 👍- oh forgot to mention plwenty of sun beds and chairs available - also sun beds around the lovely swimming pool .

  Definitely Recommend - go for Superior Sea View Rooms!

  We stayed at this hotel in Dec 2024, during New Years - we loved it, the rooms were nice, bright, spacious and cleaned everyday. We had a superior sea view room which was lovely. No noise from the beach bars, but close enough (literally 2 mins walk) to be main street, 5 min walk from the night market. Staff were very nice and helpful, food and drinks reasonable prices bearing in mind its a beachfront resort - cocktails & food both great, I had the best Pad Thai here, best ive had in Thailand so far!! The beach is lovely, sea is warm and the weather is warm, what more could you ask for! We have already booked another stay for Aug 2026, after comparing all the beachfront hotels in the area, this one still comes out on top! Definitely try the cocktail bar just opposite the hotel... (Lamai Cocktails) great cocktails cheap happy hour! 70 THB plus I've never seen so many cocktails choice on one menu!! They also do beer, milkshakes, soft drinks etc... We spent New Years Eve there and the atmosphere and staff were great! 👍☺️
