Location

This resort is located in the centre of Chaweng, beside the best and most popular beach on the east coast of Samui Island in Thailand. Samui airport is about 10 km away, while the town centre with its huge selection of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and further holiday services lies approximately 30 km from the hotel.

Facility

The resort has 5 junior suites and 88 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. There is a poolside snack bar as well. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers golf. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing and kayaking. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and massage treatments.     Amazing Hotel

    Have stayed at this Hotel many times and again this year for 4 weeks. They have the most amazing and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will continue to go there whenever we can. Right on the beach, great swimming pool and so close to cheap restaurants and markets.

    We have just returned from another fabulous stay at Matcha beach resort, As always hotel is very welcoming,lovely rooms,staff amazing,Always greets everyone with a big smile,Breakfast a good choice of food, catering for all,Matcha is right on chaweng beach,Has an nice pool and bar area,We can’t wait to return again next year.

    Great hotel at the end of busy Chaweng, but far enough to not be disturbed by any party noice. Matcha is at the best location, with excellent staff and great service, This was our fourth times staying at Matcha, and we sure vill be back. If you should stay for servers weeks this is a great place.

    I have stayed at Matcha formaly Chaba and it never disappoints.Always stay ocean side which is my preference to be able to see the Sea.Rooms are large and well equipped.Bathroom a little small and I do wish it was just a shower cubicle rather than a bath with shower curtain.Coffee/tea in the room with 2 bottles of water daily.Room maids do a fantastic job and keep your room very well cleaned.Breakfast not the greatest selection but I enjoyed the bacon with poached eggs. Would be nice to have some tomatoes and Mushrooms though.Pool I did not use but its a lovely area. I prefer the beach and this hotel is on the best part of chaweng beach. Water very clear and nice soft sand with no rocks. Bar service excellent and food was delicious. I ate lunch there quite a number of times and cannot be faulted.Shame they do not have happy hour like most hotels but drinks are reasonably priced. Met some lovely people at this hotel who have returned having stayed previously.I will definately be back as its close enough to the main area but far enough for peace and quiet if you want it. It is a 15 minute walk to Ark Bar and the main entertainment area. I found it quicker to walk up the beach as pavements were very busy.There is great amenities near by such as laundry, exchange booths, tour desks and a great little bar to the right called Rango which does great cocktails.Look forward to returning next April. ❤️

    We had a fantastic stay. The staff are great, always see where they can assist you. Location is great. Not far from the shopping mall and market. Lots of restaurants and spa's around the hotel. Great bfast and beach is there at the hotel with nice pools. We met so many people from all over the world.
