Location

This resort is situated on the east coast of Samui Island in an idyllic setting, on the white sands of Chaweng beach. Hin Ta and Hin Yai are 20 metres from the resort and Chaweng Shopping Centre is 100 metres away. It is 1 km to the centre of Chaweng, 25 km to Nathon and 3 km to Koh Samui Airport.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 44 junior suites and 9 suites. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including canoeing, a gym, yoga, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. An entertainment programme and live music are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a dining room, a breakfast room and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request.

    Please read this before booking hopefully will save disappointment

    The hotel is situated on the quieter side of Chaweng Beach. At one end of the beach there are water sports whilst the other end has more sedate walks with some stunning access to sand spits at low tide . The boutique hotel is quite small and has a beautiful pool surrounded by lush tropical surroundings which are well maintained. Our room was absolutely superb; A immense king sized bed , a huge bathroom equipped with a large open shower and accompanying whirlpool bath. The room was equipped with Tea/ coffee making facilities , a safe , free wifi, large TV with access to multiple international channels. The staff were absolutely lovely from the beach boy , to the waiters, to the gardeners all so very polite and willing to help I cannot compliment them more. Having never visited Thailand before we were perhaps a little naive in deciding to book All inclusive , but having travelled extensively its often the only way to keep costs down. I really do not like to criticise hotels as do so many people on these websites for the most trivial of things however on this occasion I think its absolutely valid. Please bear in mind you pay a premium for all inclusive usually a few hundred of pounds per person. Anyway the hotels All inclusive policy was to limit the number of drinks to THREE drinks per day which included could include any soft drinks, tea , coffee and bottled water. Half way through our stay the drinks menu was further altered to remove some of the more expensive cocktails. The hotel has one restaurant the Anand its not a buffet and the half, Full Board and obviously ALL inclusive menus are very limited small endlessly repeating choices of the same Thai dishes with little or no international choices with the exception on a burger or pizza. There were no vegetarian options and no questions asked relating to allergies and the like. The restaurant was devoid of guests in the evenings with a smattering of guests for lunch. Whilst writing this critique I keep asking myself am I being too critical and the answer is NO this is advertised as a 5 star hotel and it is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination so as they say "to the buyer beware". My advice is book the hotel on bed and breakfast basis as its a beautiful hotel and use the plethora of adjacent bars and restaurants which offer food and drinks at a fraction on the cost. I have actually raised a formal complaint with the travel agent I booked this holiday though as any limitations to boarding basis should be clearly specified in the Terms and Conditions prior to booking.

    Good memories for stay here very nice garden and staff very helpful. First impression for me staff in the front desk very nice and friendly.hotel not far from the night light and shopping mall.The best spa here and fitness center good.     Best place to stay right in the heart of Chaweng Beach

    Muang Samui has it’s own beauty and relaxation kind of hotel to stay with. In the middle of the hustle bustle city, yet you can find serenity and calmness all the way through your stay. Staff are one of the greatest factors that this hotel possesses. Great teamwork and definitely one of the best places you can stay in Chaweng beach.     What a wonderful experience

    We recently had the pleasure of a 2 week stay at Muang Samui. We had b&b as the location allows you to savour the flavours of the restaurants in Chaweng Beach Road Our room was 2207 and from the moment we got out of our taxi on arrival we were greeted by Thire and we had a cold scented towel with a welcome drink. Booking in was painless then we were taken to our room. Wow with around 50 rooms on site you will walk into your "apartment", is the only word that describes the massive room you have. Ours was the grand deluxe garden suite, midway between the beach and reception. This meant we had no more than 50m either direction. The Anand restaurant is next to the beach and pool. The staff here are fantastic.. Dee Dee for Eggs and omelette type things Sa and Ja the best waitresses ( they were all great really just can't remember all names) Ray a joy, Nay Nay and Mad for coffees and teas. On the beach and round the pool you had Zaw a real character and just wants you to have the best position available. He can reserve a place if you ask. The beach is lovely and clean, even though if is technically a public beach they have your sunbeds from the hotel and yes, there are beach vendors but a polite word means you are not pestered unless you want to be. You can get some bargains if you are willing to barter a little The pool was always lovely and clean.The sea has the benefit of a breaker some 150 or so metres off shore so mainly no hard breaking waves and a lovely place to have a float. Quite clear water most of the time. Some fish and yes there is some sea grass. You can wade across to the breakers and little islands when at low tide.All in all a fantastic place for a holiday.You will also love that if you walk between the buildings there is a stream with live fish and so much greenery or you can use the outside paths to and from the beach and reception. My partner had a few mosquito bites but they do supply a lovely cream to help prevent them... bear in mind you are in a lush green environment.Toiletries are supplied in your room and there is a bath/jacuzzi and shower ensuite.The Entrance is directly onto Chaweng Beach road and you have supermarkets and restaurants and shops nearby. Divas cabaret is about a 100m down the road too.We are already looking to come back if we can.... it is that good!
