Location

This hotel complex is situated in the northeast of the island of Koh Samui only a steps from Choeng Mon Beach with its extended quiet bay. The small tourist and fishing resort of Bophut is only 500 m from this hotel. The shopping and entertainment centre of Chaweng Beach is around a 10-minute drive away. There is a stop for public transport just in front of the hotel. Transfer to Koh Samui airport takes about 10 min (roughly 3 km).

Facility

The 69 rooms have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 69 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. At this resort, which includes a lift, guests are warmly welcomed by the English-speaking staff. A check-in/check-out service is available at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Film lovers are sure to find just what they're looking for in the cinema's listings. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and a fan. A balcony or terrace is a standard feature of some rooms. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Sun loungers and parasols the sun terrace complete the holiday. For guests who wish to keep active, beach volleyball, golf and fishing are available. Water sports available at the resort include canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving. The dining area includes a restaurant (with high chairs) and a bar. Catering options include half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    The location of the hotel was perfect for us the the rooms were perfect the staff go beyond there normal routine from the cleaners to the waiters who are always there with a smile and the pool staff who never stop so all in all a perfect resort for us

    My husband and I spent 4 relaxing nights at this hotel. The property boasts striking design details as well as extremely gracious and attentive staff. We had a Spa package and had multiple treatments over 3 days - perfect for wellness! All of the spa personnel were kind, considerate and very skilled.The breakfast was next level in terms of variety and excellence. Shout out to the pastry chef/baker who delighted us with the best brioche, croissants and viennoiserie we've had outside of France! The one down side of this property is the multitude of steps without handrails. This is not convenient for anyone with mobility limitations. Note that the upper level rooms are accessed by 22 steps - luckily with a handrail. That said, the charm of the staff who go above and beyond in hospitality makes the Sala Samui Choengmon a memorable place to stay.

    Absolutely stunning hotel. We visited for our 25th wedding anniversary and on arrival we're greeted with a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of prosecco along with a small piece of chocolate cake The staff were all amazing, helpful and charming. The room we had was stunning. It had an outdoor pool and an outdoor bathroom. The room was covered with petals with the words Happy 25th Wedding anniversary on it. The food was amazing and they had two happy hours per day! The staff could not do enough for you. Shame we had to leave, but hopefully will return.     First of all this was my first time in Koh Samui and Sala Samui resort and I was impressed by the hospitalityEveryone is so kind, pleasant, makes you feel at home, go above and beyond to help you and have a constant smile on their face.To Lalah, Ning, Sarah, Ellie, An, Smile, Green, Kat and Sod thank you thank you thank you !! You are the best.I stayed at one of the pool villas and loved it. Having your own private pool made my stay special Housekeeping was daily unless chosen otherwise.Side from cleaning the room and pool, they would make sure the blinds are down, the mosquito device is on, the essential oil diffuser is prepared and the special tea which helps with sleeping is there.My booking included a package of 3 body massages, a body scrub and two facials.And it really paid off because I was definitely released of all the knots on my back and felt relaxed and rejuvenated.Following all treatments I had a special kind of tea waiting for me at the porch It’s the small details that count for me As for the food it was delicious.I’m a vegetarian and they made an effort to make meals just for me.Couldn’t be happier.They also have organized events for their guests, so I was lucky to be there when they had a traditional night with Thai dancers and musicians and the infamous fire show right there at our own choengmon beach !     A beautiful location and tranquil and luxurious villas. An absolute gem. Standard Sala care and consideration to all guests. Ask for portable steps if you struggle entering the pools.
