  Affordable stay with great staff

  We stayed here for two nights and was overall happy with the stay. The staff was very helpful and the view from the sea-view houses were amazing. The AC is OK, not the best and the room gets very hot during the day. However, in one of our rooms we had a rat. The staff told us that it was a gecko but it was indeed not (according to the poop we found and the noises it made during the night). There was also a lot of flies during breakfast, making the experience less pleasant. The last morning some of us skipped breakfast due to this. The beach club has amazing drinks for the cheap price and the food was ok. The place is very secluded but offers taxi services (100 baht for a shared timetable-taxi and 300 baht+ for an own). Overall a good experience for the price but the animal-related problems makes the trip 3/5.

  Great little dive resort away from the dive crowds on Koh Tao. Dove mostly with 1 or 2 other divers plus guide. Great coral just off shore for late afternoon snorkeling. Room was basic but TV and A/C worked well, nice view and good hot water. Great breakfasts and meals were very good and really affordable. Great chill out space on deck at restaurant where you could watch the sun set.

  Very isolated but beautiful beach. Steps up and down to reception, breakfast area are very steep and dangerous. Rooms are very poorly decorated. Heartbeat when the photos presented something so beautiful, which the beach is. Feel sad for staff as they are literally doing nothing more than management allow. We've made a mistake.

  Dirty grounds - rubbish bags lying everywhere..Way too many’s mosquitos and flies. Need to use more fans, incense, candles etc. it’s really unpleasant.20 sunbeds packed into a tiny space (when they could easily space them out instead)Rooms are ok but should be way cheaper given location and quality.Food is ok - nothing amazing - portions are too small - should be 50% bigger.Staff are friendly.Could be a paradise but they need a manager to come in and run the place properly and tell people what to do.

  Great hotel with amazing snorkelling!

  We loved our 4 night stay on this quiet bay. There is only one other resort on the bay. It is double the price and has terrible reviews of the restaurant. Pick up from the ferry and transport back is included in your stay. Any other time you would like transport into Sairee (which we only did once) it is a reasonable 100 baht per person. We stayed in a room rather than a bungalow as it was lower down to the beach. It was spacious with plenty of counter space to put all of our stuff as well as a spot to hang clothes. There was a mini fridge and kettle with cups and supplies to make coffee and tea. The beds were pretty firm. I requested another duvet to put under the sheet to make it squishier and one was promptly brought. There were ample selections for the included breakfast each day. The restaurant was a great spot for lunch and dinner. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. Happy hour offered cheap and delicious cocktails that many people took advantage of. The restaurant also had a section where you could buy snacks like chips or nuts, ice cream or necessities such as bug spray. There is a lovely little beach in front. Loungers are available in the shade. You can rent paddle boards and kayaks (a 15 minute paddle gets you to shark island) from the dive shop and snorkels/masks are free from the reception. The star of this resort is the snorkelling in the bay out front. We preferred the left side, although the whole bay was great. We saw a ton of fish, the "nursery" area with many baby sharks, abundant corals, and other sea creatures like sea cucumbers, star fish, blue and yellow clams. Twice we went out at dusk hoping to see a larger shark. We were able to see one both times but they are fast so you just get a quick viewing. Also at dusk we met up with a turtle (the turtle group on FB said her name is Siri-they can tell from the markings). We hung out with her for about 10 minutes watching her eat. The staff were always helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay there again if I return to Koh Tao.
