    Road is not accessible. So no scooter. Food expensive and bad. Swimming Pool very dirty. No friendly and dont forget the 261 steps. Nothing near by. People dont speak english.     Family of 5 stayed in 2 adjoining bungalows, comfy beds, good AC, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. Restaurant on site we had breakfast included buffet style, option to have lunch and dinner with small menu and small portions , we walked along the beach and ate in the hotel next door.

    A mixed bag - manage your expectations, potential hidden gem off the beaten track with some imrpovements

    Mixed feelings about this resort. The honeymoon suite we booked had no working aircon or hot water, however the manager did their utmost to resolve things for us and was very helpful and eager to make something work which we really appreciated. We were moved (to a normal room) and that room was fine, good aircon and water worked fine. Felt like they were working with a lot of problems and doing their best. Another review mentions they were closed 2 years for Covid and it shows, they were clearly prepping for higher season though - renovations of rooms and new things like a swing on the beach, new pool umbrellas etc being installed. The location is remote but that’s what we wanted, be aware it is down a long bumpy dirt track so not accessible by foot to go out exploring, and LOTS of steps on the complex. Beach has hardly anyone on it, can use their kayaks and paddle board free, stunning and deserted, great sunset. Breakfast included in our room was fine, small choice but hotel was quiet so we understood, could choose fresh eggs cooked to order and then pancakes, thai option, toast, fruit, sometimes yoghurt, juice etc. evening food was average, there are other hotels close by along the beach too though you can explore for more dinner options. Pool was clean and so was beach, with cool beanbags and places to relax, and our room was clean but basic. Great views and a lovely remote island away from the more commercialised places like Phi Phi and Lanta, very much a place to chill and disconnect. WiFi was ok. Excellent mango shakes! Monkeys mentioned in other reviews were no problem. They are trying to get back up to standard I would say, we stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it but it’s not a luxury holiday. Might need a bit of patience - some aspects aren’t quite up to scratch service wise, our taxi back to the port was 30 mins late, staff English wasn’t great, just attention to detail lacking - things like missing cutlery at breakfast having to ask for it, it felt like a young team who maybe need a bit more experience behind them.     Overpriced and needing maintenance.

    This resort is overpriced in comparison to other Koh Jum resorts. The resort is located on a hillside with over 200 steps to get from the road to the reception at sea level. To get to the resort you must travel along a dirt road which is rutted, steep in places and strewn with small rocks. Taxi is the best way to get here and if you choose to hire a scooter take extreme care on this road. I stayed here for 3 nights and found the lacotion to be peacful. The cottages are set up the hillside in a well established area of trees. The resort shows many signs of needing maintenance, probably stemming from the COVID closure of over 2 years. However, the two resorts nearby are much better maintained. The food at the resort is average, I ate dinner here each night, but the breakfast is unacceptable for the price you pay. Very poor selection of items. If you are looking to stay in one place for your stay, prepared to put up with the run down nature of the resort then this is a great place to unwind. If not, and you want to explore the island and go to different cafes etc. I suggest staying somewhere else. There are monkeys here but they did not cause me any trouble. The pool is a good size but with clear signs of algae growing on the walls. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi is not good at all and certainly not high speed.     Hi , I would like to leave an honest review of this resort, I travelled with a group of nine of us two family's with kids all over the age of ten. Firstly the resort is in a beautiful location off the beaten track with a stunning backdrop, we arrived by longboat directly to the resort from the mainland after a stay in Koh Lanta. The resort overall does not unfortunately represent any value for money, It's disappointing as many other resorts seem to thrive in similar situations. The breakfast was nothing short of unacceptable, a very poor selection of food so we decided to eat next door and pay for it. The same goes across the board for this resort , Its has super potential and with good management it would be a great place to stay.
