    Our 2nd visit to this hotel. Arrived at 10 am fully expecting to have to wait but we were checked in immediately and shown to our room, a brilliant start!All staff are faultlessly polite with the usual Thai smiles and greetings! All go out of their way to help you.Rooms are immaculately clean, showers are brilliant.Admittedly if you have any mobility issues you would need to ensure that you are in one of the main blocks.People who mention the hill, do your homework before you book! A small price to pay for the location and the quality!Breakfast is fantastic, plenty of choice!Pools are clean and poolside areas are well kept.On the whole fantastic value in a perfect location!We will definitely choose this hotel again.To those that complain about everything, if you want a 5 * hotel, pay 5* prices!!!

    CHADA AND AGODA STOLE MONEY FROM ME AND REFUSE TO GIVE IT BACK. I've sent you proof of me myself canceling booking 633484519 at 11am Central European time on the 10th of March. At that point and until I was charged for booking 1990020457 I had no clue it even existed or was changed. I got no information about booking 1990020457 and I did not approve it whatsoever. I also did not accept any new terms as all I knew existed was booking 633484519 which as you can see here was canceled on the 10th of March by ME MYSELF, not by your system. All I knew was I had canceled the only booking I had made and was aware of, anything to do with booking 1990020457 is not my issue or problem, you need to refund it. We're not going there, and I'm not doing your job for you trying to discuss with your partners due to mistakes your system makes. Take your responsibility as a trustful company and refund the customer you wrongfully charged for something he did not book and doesYour colleague Nicole has now established that this booking 1990020457 was made by your supplier, not by me. I rightfully canceled the booking that I made with number 633484519 but was still charged for booking 1990020457. I don't care how you work with your suppliers. I booked and then canceled my ONLY booking with number 633484519 - I was not charged for that booking as I canceled it before the last cancelation. I have gotten no information about booking number 1990020457 - I DID NOT BOOK that and did not want that. We're not going to the hotel, which is why I canceled booking 633484519, the only booking I had in my email. Whether that's booked or changed in your system because your suppliers or partners were sold out has nothing to do with me. I was not informed of this and did not receive a new booking number or any information on it whatsoever until a charge showed up on my card for a booking I had already rightfully canceled. I repeat for the 100th time that we are not going to that hotel, you can inform your partners and whoever needs to know and release the room, I don't care. All YOU HAVE TO DO IS WIRE BACK MY MONEY FOR BOOKING 1990020457 WHICH YOU STOLE FROM ME

    Location was great not too far from beach. The views were spectacular. Rooms were large the jumping pipes when your turned the shower on rocked the entire complex. Great size balcony house keeping was good. Breakfast location was underground with zero atmosphere. Some of the food questionable but great omelettes. Pool beds very uncomfortable and the pool towels are from 1970s. . Bed was comfortable property was quiet and very relaxing. Staff lacked warmth.

    A mixed review here. The approach to the hotel is steep, so we mostly walked down to the nearby main road and it wss fun though a bit risky getting a tuktuk back up cardiac hill. Reception staff were friendly as are most Thai people. The dining room is soul less, but okay for a quick breakfast, which I'd score average compared with other 3 star hotels. The lift.. stopped working when more than 2 people used it. We were on 6th floor, yet had to climb up 2 lots of steep steps outside before the dark corridoor to our room. The room was dark and rather dingy with dark brown furniture and maroon red curtains. Balcony overlooked the back of 2 or 3 other hotels but beyond the view was reasonable. The sink tap and shower fittings were old and spurted water in all directions. I did ask them to fix them but nothing was done. I used an old nailbrush and soap to scrub underneath the sink tap which solved the problem of water splashing outside of the sink. Another guest who I met when the lift didn't work was already looking elsewhere to stay. The pools were okay, if you can climb up 3 lots of steep steps, the rooftop pool is pleasant and quiet. Be careful with the steel loungers, the metal parts get so hot in the sun, too hot to touch. So, I wouldn't return, but if the owners made a few tweaks, like station a little tuk tuk just to take visitors up and down the hill, refurb the rooms for a brighter, fresher and clean feel, better lighting everywhere, a bit of landscaping and a reliable lift, it could be a nice hotel and give guests the experience they deserve.
