This appealing hotel affords a charming location between the beaches of Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara. It is surrounded by two hectares of tropical gardens. An abundance of shops are located in the immediate vicinity. Krabi airport is approximately a 30-minute journey, and there is a shuttle bus service running there.

Facility

The resort has 79 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Catering options include half board and full board. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Great stay at Krabi La Playa Resort. Clean room, daily basis cleaning is done, 2 water bottles provided daily, friendly and kind staff, great service, the food are nice, room is very comfortable and private. Room with nice views. Enjoyed the swimming pool too.

    Great location, pretty central. Good value but needed to pay for breakfast. Thought was included in my booking, but this was my bad. Low season so hotel very peaceful. Staff, very polite and helpful. Throughly recommend. First time in Thailand, so nothing to compare with. Very happy with stay and experience. Thank you.

    We arrived mid May for a 13night stay. We had been in communication with the resort prior to arrange interconnecting rooms as we were travelling as a family. Their communication through booking.com was fast.When we arrived a smiling reception team greeted us however our room request could not be satisfied. We were given two rooms side by side, one twin, one double. This unfortunately meant I had to share a bed with my 14 year old daughter, not ideal. The reception staff did offer us 2 twin rooms but they were no where near each other, not ideal for a family holiday.The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are also spacious. Each room has mosquito plug ins which were really good and the cleaners appeared to spray the rooms daily. Bed was very comfortable. Towels changed daily and the provision of pool towels was welcomed. We didn't eat at the hotel but from others on resort they were happy with the quality of breakfast.The bar staff were great at the pool, Nanny made us smile on a daily basis.We booked two trips through the resort and the last booking couldn't have been more helpful although they really do prefer cash.Check out was smooth. We settled the bill the night before as we knew we were leaving early.The location is good. Close to local shops and restaurants, our favourite being KoDam.The pool was maintained well and clean. I recommend finding the emerald pool for a quieter time but the main pool was not exactly noisy.If you are travelling with a younger family I would say there are more suitable resorts in the immediate area. Also the cash machine in the hotel, charges excessive amounts to take money out and also swallowed a card of ours. The staff were less than helpful around this. This seemed to be a common theme with some reception staff, they didn't appear to go above and beyond and to me this is an essential quality for the first staff you interact with.Overall we had a good stay here.

    Wonderful Holiday at Krabi La Playa Resort – Highly Recommended!For May 2026, we had originally booked a trip to Krabi La Playa Resort in Ao Nang, Thailand. Our journey was supposed to take us from Düsseldorf via Abu Dhabi to Phuket. Unfortunately, the trip was cancelled at the end of April due to the conflict in the Middle East. As a result, we had to quickly find an alternative. We eventually found a new route via Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur to Phuket and decided to book Krabi La Playa Resort once again.We were very interested in staying in a swim-up room, but unfortunately this option was not available through our travel agency. Thanks to the outstanding support and flexibility of Kannika from the Marketing Department and Mike from Reservations, we were able to arrange a Deluxe Pool Access Room directly via WhatsApp. We are extremely grateful for their help. One suggestion for the resort would be to offer more travel agencies the opportunity to book these fantastic rooms.We arrived in Ao Nang on May 14th. Despite arriving late in the evening, the welcome was excellent. Check-in was quick and efficient, and we received our requested room, number 109. The room was spacious, clean, and featured a large comfortable bed, along with everything you would expect from a Deluxe room. The bathroom was also spacious enough for two people and included a good shower and toilet.The location of the resort is perfect. It is peaceful and quiet, yet only about 100 meters from the main street. From there, beaches, restaurants, and shops are all within easy walking distance.The breakfast was good, with a reasonable selection of bread, cold cuts, fruit, and egg dishes. One small point for improvement would be that the fried eggs are sometimes prepared in advance, meaning they are not always served hot and can become a little chewy.The entire resort is well maintained and kept very clean. Both the public areas and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. The swimming pools are beautiful, clean, and well cared for. It is even possible to see the pool's pH levels and chlorine content, which gives guests confidence in the quality of maintenance.We spent two wonderful weeks here and honestly cannot mention any significant negatives. We would happily recommend Krabi La Playa Resort to family, friends, and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Thailand.Thank you, Krabi La Playa Resort, for a beautiful and memorable vacation. We would love to return in the future!
