  Extremely disappointing stay – Not recommended for families or Indian travellers!

  I recently stayed at Bella Express Hotel, Pattaya, during a family trip to Thailand. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a hotel advertised as a 3-star property. In my opinion, this hotel does not even meet basic 1-star standards.NO SUPPORT FROM THE HOTEL STAFF ON BROKEN ELECTRIC POINTS/FRIDGE/CHANGE IN ROOM- The biggest concern was the complete lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. Despite repeatedly requesting housekeeping, our room was not cleaned adequately. The room itself was poorly maintained, and several facilities were not functioning properly. The charging points in the room were broken and remained unrepaired throughout our stay despite multiple requests to the hotel staff. Another major issue was the refrigerator in the room, which was not working. Since we were traveling with family and carrying some food items that required refrigeration, we requested the staff to repair or replace the fridge. Unfortunately, this request was completely ignored and never addressed during our entire stay. We were also disappointed with the room allocation. The room provided to us had an unpleasant view directly facing an AC duct. We politely requested a room change and observed that other rooms appeared to be available. However, the reception staff neither accommodated the request nor provided any communication or explanation. The lack of responsiveness and professionalism from the front desk team was frustrating and reflected poorly on the hotel's customer service standards.PATHETIC SAFETY STANDARDS- The most alarming concern was related to security. The room safe was malfunctioning and unreliable. What was even more concerning was learning that hotel staff had a master key capable of opening guest safes. During our absence, it appeared that the safe had been accessed, which completely eroded our confidence in the hotel's security measures. Guests should feel safe leaving their valuables in a hotel room, but that was certainly not the case here.POOREST HOSPITALITY - The hospitality was equally disappointing. The staff were generally unhelpful and showed little interest in resolving guest concerns. We often felt ignored when raising legitimate issues regarding the room and facilities.LACK OF HYGIENE IN DINING AREA - The food experience was another major letdown. Hygiene standards in the dining area were extremely poor. We witnessed cockroaches roaming around the buffet counter, making it difficult to eat anything with confidence. Due to concerns around cleanliness and food safety, our family mostly relied on fruits and sandwiches throughout our stay.My family and I spent 3 nights at this hotel as part of our Thailand vacation, and unfortunately those 3 nights significantly impacted our overall travel experience. We had looked forward to a comfortable family stay but were left disappointed by the poor standards across multiple areas.SWIMMING POOL- The only positive aspect of the property was the swimming pool, which was reasonably maintained. Apart from that, I found very little to appreciate about this hotel.I would strongly advise families to carefully consider other accommodation options in Pattaya. There are several better hotels near Pattaya Beach that offer superior cleanliness, security, hospitality, and overall value for money.I have attached photographs showing the condition of the property and the lack of housekeeping despite repeated requests. I hope hotel management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns for future guests.

  Went for new year hotel is value for money however the staff are extremely rude, even the girl on reception couldn’t be bothered ,as for the towel kiosk ,(when there was somebody on it ?) was very rude to us and other guests shouting and slamming towels down , if they don’t like the job give it to someone else !!!The cleaners however were lovely and worked extremely hard . Travelled round the world and never came across such rude employees as these !!

  The building was old and the rooms were also suffocated despite a superior room being booked. I had to upgrade my room in another property located within the same premises known as Grand Bella @ additional 400 Baht per day. The staff is cooperative and helpful. Limited water two bottles per day. Maintenance done everyday and ok. Front desk and caretaking staff is helpful but don’t accept additional demands
