Comfortable beds, good breakfast, but location far.
16 Jan 2026
The hotel felt very run down. Not a 4 star hotel you expect. The positive aspects are that the family suite is large with 2 rooms and a front door and the bed itself was soft and comfortable compared to some other hotels in Thailand. The pool didn’t have many chairs but overall was ok. And the breakfast was ok too. The negatives are that the shuttle bus takes about 5 mins drive to the beach but you still have to take a taxi to get to the centre of Jomtien. There were building work on the hotel itself which wasn’t that relaxing. And we could hear motorway traffic at night from our room. We cancelled our last evening as we changed travel plans and thankfully the hotel gave us a full refund. However the checkout process was not smooth. I would advise to give deposit in cash and not with a card. Manlika Thatsanaphak, Other at Centara Life Maris Resort Jomtien, responded to this review Dear lylnas,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us.We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the comfort of the beds, the spacious family suite, and that the breakfast and pool met your expectations. We truly appreciate your kind words regarding our team’s flexibility in providing a full refund when your travel plans changed. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the aspects of your stay that did not meet your expectations. We regret the inconvenience caused by the ongoing building work, the noise from nearby traffic, and any difficulties you experienced with transportation and the checkout process. Your comments regarding the shuttle service, deposit method, and overall condition of the hotel are well noted and will be shared with our management team for further improvement.Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we truly appreciate your honesty. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
