  This is a decent budget priced hotel, in a good location for partying, in the soi Bukhao area of pattaya. It's set back from the road, so quiet, unlike many hotels and guesthouses in the area. The rooms come with either a shower or a bath with shower within, depending upon whether you choose sperior or deluxe. You get the usual kettle, teabags, coffee, shampoo, soap and 2 bottles of water and the beds are a bit unforgiving, definitely slept in better, for the price I'd say reasonable if you want to be in party central.

  Where to start? Let me first give the positive things, the hotel is situated at Soi Buakow, so in the midst of restaurants, bars and clubs. The room was big, comfortable bed with nice size balcony. They have 2 very clean swimming pools and I did not have a problem to have a sunbed. The room cleaning was OK and night security was the only really friendly staff around. All the other staff were not smiling or welcoming, even 1 reception man I found him quite rude.Than, why only 2 stars? My room was just above the adjacent bar, so although they had a double window to the balcony, the other window was single glass, so it was really really loud in my room till 3 at night. I also choose always a hotel where there are blackout curtains, because I like it dark in the room, although mentioned on the bookingsite, they don't have blackout curtains, so in early morning it's light in the room.Taking a shower wasn't easy as well since the holder for the shower was facing up, so needed to take shower with the hose in your hand.So I guess if I was in another room far away from the noise it could have been a 4 stars, but a hotel is the place where you want to have a good night rest, and I did not have that.

  We had a great stay at the Golden Sea Hotel. The hotel is in a great location, close to the market and everything you need is within walking distance. The baht buses pass the front of the hotel frequently, making it easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful and there’s a great bar next door with good prices, perfect for a few pre-drinks.The room was a really good size and had everything we needed, including a hairdryer, kettle, and safe. The bathroom toiletries were good and the room also had a nice-sized balcony with seating and an airer for drying wet swimwear or clothes. We had a pool-view room at the back of the hotel, which I think was probably quieter than rooms at the front of the hotel. Our room was cleaned daily and towels were changed every day.The pool was great, a good temperature and we never had any trouble getting sun loungers. Pool towels were provided along with the room towels. Negatives The air conditioning wasn’t great at first, but once we mentioned it, someone came quickly and fixed the issue.Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again in the future.

  Dirty and coat hanger scam, cutlery in breakfast area not washed or cleaned properly, still had day before food on them disgusting. Rooms were old outdated, years of dust on pictures and around the bed area. We had to clear room ourselves with bleach from 7/11 . Water pressure in shower awful, low pressure and only cold or just warm, not hot. Smell from drains in bathroom bad. We poor bleach down to mask smell. Landing very hollow and noisy at night though early hours people banging doors and drunk coming back from night life. Not recommended to stay here we moved out after 1 week. Then they tried to scam us out of 1000 bath deposit by saying we take 1 coat hanger from room, 1000 baht deposit is £25. Lucky I take photo and video when entering the room before staying and had proof that there was only 3 crap coat hanger in room not 4 lol, hotel needs shutting down.

  Stayed here a few times,Great rooms and central to soi buckoa.Rooms big and cleaned daily.Breakfast good and very helpful staff.
