Fantastic hotel. Opulence is the word I firstly think of. Staff are all extremely helpful and just so nice - shoutout to John in the pool bar. The sunset is stunning. Pool is lovely and clean. Gym is enough for what you need. Rooms are beautiful. Food is ok. Short walk to the dolphin roundabout (Terminal 21) and then a Baht bus to the beach road - you can get the free bus from the hotel but we always managed to miss it! 100% we’d stay here again.

HAD THE BEST TIME!
13 Nov 2025
My husband and I have just returned home from our second stay at the L.K. and the only thing we have to complain about is the weather! Rain, rain and more rain which was beyond anybody's control! The only good thing is that when it does rain, it never goes cold. When we booked the hotel, our 'special request' was for Room 2712 which is the room we stayed in during our previous stay and we were delighted to receive confirmation that we had been allocated this room which is a 'wet room' i.e. a walk-in shower, no bath which made it more spacious. This room also has sea views from two different angles which is a bonus. Most of the staff recognised us as returning guests which made us feel at home. Check-in was a breeze as was our middle of the night check out. We were surprised at how quiet the hotel was compared to our previous stay. However, this meant that there was no queuing for anything at breakfast or at the egg station. The breakfast buffet was more or less the same every day but it catered for just about every taste. The diningroom staff greeted us every morning with 'good morning' and big smiles. The beds and pillows are super comfy and our room attendant kept our room/bathroom spick and span. She also kept us well supplied with drinking water. There were always plenty of sunbeds and parasols available by the pool and three steps down from the end of the pool led straight onto the beach. Unfortunately, the water hides lots of rocks which makes swimming very difficult but that is something the hotel cannot control but you need to be aware. A shout-out to the Shuttle drivers who were always very accommodating to take us where we wanted to go. Download What's App and you can ring/message Reception and request the shuttle to pick you up on the main road. Very handy. We had the best time, despite the weather (it wasn't all bad) and if and when we return to Pattaya, the L.K. Emerald (room 2712) will be top of our list. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews. We had the best time!Handy tip! Take your own beach chairs if you like to sit on the beach.

Wonderful experience

What an absolute gem of a place! The hotel itself is well equipped, and is spotless everywhere. The staff take genuine pride in their service, and they all appear to be happy and content in their jobs which reflects positively on the atmosphere there. All staff are so helpful and polite, and they all added value to our experience there. The pool area is lovely - we had a room with pool access which was definitely worth the extra money. Cocktails at the poolside were amazing. We loved our stay there, thank you !

ALMOST PERFECT
12 Apr 2025
The 'Emerald', as far as I am concerned, is the nicest hotel that my husband and I have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of nice hotels in lots of different countries. We knew from the photographs on the Internet that it was very ornate and it didn't disappoint so if 'modern, contemporary' is more your style, then perhaps you wouldn't appreciate its 'ornateness'! Our room (2712) was perfect in that it was tucked round the corner from the three lifts, with no neighbours and no passing traffic so extremely quiet. The room was big enough for the two of us, with lots of storage for clothes etc. We had requested a walk-in shower and our bathroom was a wet room with a very large rain-shower. We had twin beds which were extremely comfortable, as were the pillows and the bedding was top quality, as were the fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The daily maid service was exceptional and bottled water was replaced daily both in the bedroom and the bathroom. The air-conditioning was quiet and didn't disturb our sleep which isn't always the case. There was a touch-screen consul between the beds which controlled the lights and the air-con. There was also a USB port in the wall next to the dressing table. The balcony was small but just about adequate, however the balcony chairs were cast-iron, extremely heavy and extremely uncomfortable. Room 2712 comes with the added bonus of a partial sea view. The three lifts were quick to arrive when called but that could be because the hotel was extremely quiet during the whole of our four week stay. This did mean that sunbeds were always available, despite the usual 'towels on the beds' at silly o'clock. I didn't like that the sunbeds were 'regimented' in that they were all in a straight line, in two's, from one end of the pool deck to the other. Fortunately, we had taken our own beach chairs which meant that we could sit on the promenade in front of the hotel, literally by the beach, and enjoy the view and the sea breeze. Perfect! The choice of dishes at the buffet breakfast was extensive, particularly if you are a fan of Asian cuisine. However, there was an 'egg station', cooked to order as well as streaky bacon, a fairly efficient toaster, cereals, jams, honey, pastries, teas and coffees etc. so we didn't go hungry. My only disappointment was the very limited choice of breads. The only baguette was like a brick! and no soft rolls. The hotel shuttle to and from the Dolphin Roundabout i.e. the main road, ran every half-an-hour. It was walkable for the able-bodied but a bonus for the less mobile. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming, especially the restaurant manager who told us that he 'serves from the heart'. Unfortunately, our checking-out process at 4 oclock in the morning was somewhat stressful due to the fact that following the obligatory room inspection and before we were refunded our 1,000 Baht deposit, we were told that we were being charged for 'two waters' from the mini-fridge. News to me! To cut a long story short, the receptionist eventually accepted the fact that we hadn't drunk two bottles of water (which were still in the fridge) and refunded our deposit. Sadly, it did spoil our departure for which the hotel has since apologised. Other than that, we had the best time.

Disappointment
30 Mar 2025
Pro:-I loved the shower and the quality of the water was great. The water doesn't smell or taste weird. They offer a hairdryer and more.-The Staff at the Restaurant and at the entrance are extremely polite and helpful.-They offer free WiFi and you receive the password right at the check-in.con:-The website states that the restaurant is open until 10pm. However, the restaurant was closed at 20:50. That should be edited on the website!!-The rooms aren't very clean. The floor isn't wiped, they wipe away dust and hair. I used a wet towel on the floor and it was black. The 'fresh' towels and Bed sheets had spots on them. One time I complained and then they changed the bed sheets. The blanket was changed twice and still afterwards I found spots on it.Another time I found red lipstick stains on a pillowcase. I didn't complain and on the next day after my room was 'cleaned' the durty pillowcase was still there. they only switched the order of the pillows.-The chairs outside stain clothes. I hung clothes outside to dry and our clothes were stained.-the air con had an defect on one day and stopped working. A repair guy had to come to fix the issue.-The doors of the balcony were broken and couldn't be locked.-the layout of the shower is very unpractical. There is a small opening and water gets out and wets the floor.-The Hotel has a private beach, but you cannot go into the sea because it's too dangerous. it's a stone beach it's very dangerous to walk on them. Apparently you can swim in the morning during high tide, but I was never awake/ready for breakfast early enough to catch this.
