Misleading buainess by Goibibo
03 Jun 2025
This is further to the booking done on travel website Goibibo wherein we have had booked a sea view Mini Suite with A One the Royal Cruise Hotel from 19th May 2025 to 21st May 2025 very much in advance, in fact two to three months in advanceHowever, when me and my daughter visited the Hotel all the way from India, we were quite surprised to find out that the Manager at the Reception first told us that he is unable to find our name in the reservation list despite sharing all the details and showing the Goibibo confirmed Voucher to him. Then when I folllowed up twiice or thrice, he found my name in the reservation list and said that the booking is relocated to another hotel named Mytt. And the Manager insisted that the travel partner has made the goof up and we should speak with them. When we repeatedly told the manager that we won't be able to contact the Travel Partner as it was impossible for us to reach the Indian Customer Support Contact at the moment, he kept on insisting to do the same and kept on putting the blame on to the travel partner, in our case, GoIbibo and in fact he was very much correct on his part whichwe later reallised when he shared the mail exchange that happenwd between the Hotel and Goibibo very much in advance clearly mentioning about such relocation which Goibibo never considered important to share the same with usAnd in the evening when I wrote a harsh mail to the Hotel Management, I was quite shocked to see such communication exchange between the Hotel and Goibibo which was never ever shared with us. While it was a very preposterous experience and not at all acceptable, that despite booking the hotel so many months in advance, we were being asked to relocate. And if this was the case, Goibibo should have intimated us well in advance about the facts to facilitate us tp book a different property of our cboice.Or they should have refunded us the entire booking amount then and there and we could have easily found a better property as per our choice.Very pathetic experience and totally misleading business by GoibiboI will surely wish each of you to escalate all such issues to the highest relevant authorities as well as the management team of the travel partner. Will definitely share this misleading business done by Goibibo on all the Travel websites so that other customers like us don't suffer in the manner which myself and my 13 year old daughter did. Also let me share the mail ids of Goibibo Team members with whom the Hotel management did exchanged the mailAppended the same hereunder for everyone's recordskattreeya.vilaskumbhee@go-mmt.comAvichal.Mishra@go-mmt.com RegardsGanesh S

Good hotel

Lovely staff and pool area me and my son loved it excellent soft play as well. Fat at the Fat Coco is expensive with a 7% tax and 10% service charge on top hotels guests shouldn't have to pay that, Fat Coco does attract a lot of non hotel guests. A lot of the side seating area is under cover. Went to go back this March unfortunately one of the days in the middle of the trip was full. Location is right on Beach Road

Rooms were sub standard and the wooden floors were scratched. Very poor room amenities and dirty rooms. Our rooms faced the side of another facility with their air conditioning units and ducts.Food was plentiful but not vegetarian friendly and the facility was dirty.

SCAMMERS
18 Feb 2025
Everything else was nice except the lifts which seemed a little scary with kids as it closed very abruptly. Was quite happy with my experience but a day prior to checkout was told that two towels in one of our room was missing . Even after so much arguments they were stubborn with their attitude but i understood what they were upto. Then at checkout was charged for 3 big towels and 1 small handkerchief800 baht for a towel imagine. Big scamers in their staff.
