Nice hotel on Long Beach, Phi Phi

    rating19 Mar 2026

We stayed here for 3 nights with a group of four in 2 beachfront bungalows earlier this month. Really enjoyed our stay on Ko Phi-Phi. Paradise Report had friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet and the beachfront bungalows were clean and functional. I should probably mention that for the price sticker they could definitely use an upgrade, but it was fine for us otherwise. We enjoyed daily massages at their lovely massage-place and shopped for refreshments at their minimart. The Resort helped us book our onward travel = ferry boat transfer to Phuket, all very much appreciated. Thank you!

I have seen some of the bad reviews and I disagree. The hotel is really nice! The staff is nice but they just dont smile as much sometimes but we understand their culture and keep on smiling to them!Everyone is very accommodating.Breakfast could slightly improve but everything else is just an amazing experience.I recommend to take the beachfront vila.My picture says it all!Thank you Paradise Resort

Unfriendly staff will ruin your experience

    rating15 Oct 2025

Sour, unfriendly staff that obviously hate their jobs. The receptionist literally told me “nobody is here to take care of you” when I asked about all the long boats crisscrossing the beach around the swimmers. Everyone had a sour look on their face. The “Land of Smiles” must have skipped Koh Phiphi. This place had a very negative vibe. They don’t like tourists. They are put off by you asking them any questions. They charge for everything. You want snorkeling gear? 300 baht…and it’s not for 24 hours. It’s for 10. So pay up the next day. You want a ride to town? It’s 100 baht each way. No discount while their long boats sit there all day.Beach experience is ruined by dangerous long boats crisscrossing while you swim. You can stay safe in their little corded off swim area. Unremarkable rooms.

Depends what you are looking for!!View from the hotel is utterly amazing and the beach is beautiful. Arrival is only via long boat, look for signs on the Phi Phi pier and they’ll take you around for free. The long boat operators are so lovely, helped us book our onwards ferry. Kayaks to hire nearby 150 THB/ hour and can hire snorkels from hotel. In terms of hotel, it’s poorly maintained. Parts of it look like a building site, rooms are a bit grubby and the staff pretty much act like they hate the tourists!!!! Breakfast isn’t great (no fresh coffee) but really good omelette, fruit and fresh tea. If you are looking for sumptuous resorts this isn’t for you. However, we wanted an empty beach, an amazing view, to swim on the coral reef (500 metre swim from beach) in clear water. We got all of this!!!

    Paradise resort stay

    rating17 Jul 2025

We stayed for 2 nights as the check in is 3pm and checkout 11am as we didn’t arrive until check in we realised that to do anything on the island we would need 2 nights .The hotel is only accessible by boat and when you get water taxis you do have to get in and out the water .The hotel location is a paradise the beach is amazing and th town market nice and clean .I will say the first room we stayed in was lovely it was beachfront the 2nd bungalow not so much we were provided with very old bedding and towels .Breakfast is minimal compared to other places we have stayed at but when staying in a non beachfront villa it is a lot more affordable and you don’t mind so much .You can get to town walking it requires one small steep climb but is manageable ( not manageable for pushchairs etc )The staff here could do with a bit of customer service training we felt very much like the English wernt liked much !However the gentleman doing the boat taxis is a lovely guy who wil happily help you as much as they can with limited English but will help you arrange boat trips etc as they know everyone in the marina - I found these guys more informative than the hotelsLaundry service is available and super cheap !But may not get bk when they say so be carful if your due to checkoutThere seems to be a lot of maintenance going on we were woken up both mornings to cement mixers but in all honestly the beach is so beautiful you just go out but it would have been nice to have a warning.Al in all good value for money please note they do a feee boat taxi from the port and at certain times you don’t always have to pay the 100-150bht charge( always more at night )
