Bungalows were fine, fridge, AC, safe ect. Pool was lovely heated with swim up bar, good area with plenty of bars & resturants shops ect. Yes it was a bit noisy at night, and the hotel provides earplugs, but after the first night and a few drinks I did not hear anything to keep me awake.

We loved it here, staff so friendly on reception.The room was as described, we were ground floor with direct access to the pool.Loved the swim up bar with the barman who played tunes through the day.The breakfast was our best so far on our travels, so much choice.And finally the location, it’s right in the middle of the action, everything right outside your door, including the beachNoise wasn’t a problem to us. But our room was furthest from the entrance of the hotelWe loved it here

Biggest waste of money

Do not waste your money - no matter how bad the other hostels/hotels look!!!!!!!!The only good thing about this property is the location - not that it’s worth it. As the island is that small staying at any hotel will mean you’re in a location close to it all anyway! Cons:- music does not stop til 3am. I have stayed on the strip of pretty much every other place in Thailand and it’s never been that bad.- air con doesn’t work- most uncomfortable bed- the bedsheets smelled off, couldn’t put my finger on what it was- bathroom was literally unusable. The sink was so close to the wall, I couldn’t even brush my teeth in front of it?!!! Pictures included I wouldn’t be so annoyed if I hadn’t paid more than the average place for a dump

It's unfortunate, but this hotel needs a lot of tender loving care and maintenance. It has a lot of potential, but they're obviously not spending money on upkeep.I'll start with the positives:The staff were all lovely and friendly, and helpful when required!The reception area is clean and cool, away from the glaring sun.The pool area is nice, with a cocktail bar that was delicious!Breakfast is varied and delicious! Unfortunately, that's about it. Now the negatives:Loud. Not just a little, but extremely. It is right next to a beach bar that places very loud bassy music from about 7.30pm until 3am. It is mixed with the cacophany of a nearby karaoke bar as well, alongside paper-thin walls so you can hear every noise from your neighbours if not in one of the separate villa rooms by the pool. I cannot stress this enough. If you are even a remotely light sleeper, do not stay here. The ear plugs do eff all! Noise-cancelling headphones helped for me.Dated and a bit tired - looking. The AC struggles and is loud. I stayed in 2 rooms, and they were both like mini generators in noise. The room would either be FREEZING cold when on, or stuffy and hot within half hour if off. In my 2nd room, it made a loud rattling sound so I decided best to leave it off for the last day. Both constantly dripped water. The showers are basic, and need a thorough scrub and clean, new paint is required, new shower units too.Pricey. Expensive for what you're getting, honestly. The hotel management need to spend some money and deep clean all rooms, remove the mustiness and mould that has started to accrue. (I get it. Hot, humid and lots of people creating the perfect conditions for mould - but that's not an excuse. Keep on top of it!) Replace the fridges and air conditioners, put some soundproofing up around the area, and on the walls. This place could easily (for a cost) be a 5 out of 5. As it stands, it's a generous 3.

Accused of stealing just to make money

Although the bungalows are nice and clean and have all the resources you need. The breakfast was lacking and right outside our bungalow so from 7am there was constant noise… very close to all nightclubs so zero sleep was achieved. And then upon leaving and checking out we were accused of stealing two towels, a hand towel which I went back to the room and picked up in front of the cleaner off the floor and a large white towel. We were then charged 700 baht for this (even though I’d shown them the so called missing hand towel). We offered to open up our luggage to prove we hadn’t taken anything. The receptionist was rude and extremely unprofessional and as I’ve now read some of the previous reviews it’s not the first time it’s happened!!!! We are good honest hard working people with our own hospitality business we left the room exactly how we found it clean, bed made and everything accounted for and we were upfront of the mini bar items we had. We definitely won’t be returning and urge everyone to be there when the cleaner checks the room and take pictures… lesson learnt…
