    This hotel is ok. Decor very poor, staff very friendly, breakfast poor, bed omg it was like a concrete slab. Air con great, shower was great. Shared balcony which I didn’t like. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here. We were only here 2 nights. That was enough

    Do not book, save your money and don’t ruin your stay at Phi Phi like we did. It looks nothing like in the pictures - it’s very dirty, trash everywhere. Booked a double bed in one of their nicer rooms, and revived two single beds although we clearly booked a double, but they choose to blame it on ”Booking.com”, that something was wrong with their website. Bare in mind this is on our engagement holiday…Bathroom was full of cockroaches and the pool was extremely dirty. We didn’t even eat the breakfast since the state of the hotell was so bad overall, it didn’t feel safe to eat. We checked out early and the staff was extremely unhelpful and rude and offered no help or refund, not even an apology. We are very experienced traveler's and we have never left a bad review like this before, but this experience was so bad, we felt like we need to warn others.

    This hotel seems abandoned. So few guests at such a big hotel seems off. It definitely needs a renovation, and a whole new staff group. They don’t even talk to you when you come and go, they just sit with their phones all day, which means no service whatsoever. The room is spacious and has a great view, but a shared balcony so anyone can look inside your room.. towels and sheets seem clean but has stains all over. We got breakfast one day only, but it was not good, so we ate at the cafes instead. I would not recommend this hotel.

    The pro: Phi Phi Cliff Beach Resort has a great location. That's the extent of anything good I can say about it.The workers are rude and unhelpful. When checking in, I had a few questions and the women working the counter couldn't be bothered. There wasn't a busy crowd; they gave off an attitude that I was interrupting their day just for checking in. I avoided them after that, which is tough considering I was a paying guest.The rooms are decent enough. They are large with balconies that overlook the bay. Except the balconies are connected so nothing stops other guests from walking into your balcony and even looking into your room. The mattresses are hard, which isn't the biggest deal. There was a trick to activating the hot water for the shower, but I figured it out in my second day. I certainly wasn't going to call the attendants. Breakfast was the bare minimum. There were hot eggs, yogurt, fruit, and danishes. After the first morning, I opted for paying for breakfast at one of the nearby restaurants.All in all, the one thing I can't get over was the service. I work very hard to take an occasional vacation. I don't want to feel like my presence is a bother to the hotel staff during my stay.
