  Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.Due to the current situation in the Middle East, our flight to Thailand was cancelled. This was completely beyond our control. As soon as we found out, we contacted the hotel and Agoda support to ask for a solution. We were not even asking for a full refund – we were willing to pay a fee just to change the dates of our stay.However, the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility or understanding. They refused to change the dates even for an additional fee and also refused any refund. In our opinion, it is extremely unprofessional and frankly inhumane to profit from a situation caused by cancelled flights and an international crisis.The communication with Agoda made the situation even worse. Agoda sent us an offer saying that we could rebook the reservation for a $50 fee if we accepted before 17:00. I replied immediately at 08:53 in the morning confirming that I accept the offer. Despite this, the next day Agoda responded saying the offer had “expired” and the booking was no longer changeable. This is completely unacceptable and shows very poor customer service and coordination.Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating. Instead of helping customers in a difficult situation, both the hotel and Agoda chose the most rigid and profit-driven approach possible.I strongly recommend future travelers to carefully consider booking here, as you may receive no support or flexibility if something unexpected happens.

  BEWARE THE OLD COUPLE!

  Beautiful location however ruined by the resort. The accommodation wasn’t clean- bathrooms very dirty and the staff were rude too at times picking and choosing when the bar was open and telling us to go elsewhere for food(they didn’t this during a rain storm period so they could sit down on their phones and do nothing) The rooms were set up nice I liked the elephant towels. The idea is lovely but again it could be so much cleaner and there’s tiny little ants everywhere on the floor and they go on your clothes and shoes and stuff. The air con is loud too. There were monkeys there climbing on the roof and on the patio bit in the back at the pool so careful when outside. The little hot tub thing in the back doesn’t work and is dirty green water too. You don’t get much of the beach either it’s constant boats everywhere. There is line splitting boats from people however the boats kept coming over the line which was really dangerous with the propellers potentially harming someone who’s snorkelling. There’s also hardly any sun-beds and if there is there’s towels and belongings on them and people just hog them. You can’t rent them either. The main topic of this review would be the old European couple, maybe Spanish or something, acting like they run the hotel. I have put a photo of them up however it’s not clear and doesn’t show much. There is another review about them on here which is from a year ago and is still as accurate as to what they’re like today. It’s definitely worth reading. I was disgusted with how they treated the workers please watch out for them and steer clear as I’m not sure the hotel are going to step in as it’s been a year they have been acting like this. They will follow you, stare at you, and pick arguments. They are aggressive with the workers and put hands on them and treat them like dogs and they just let it happen for some reason. This couple has ruined loads of people’s stays here and I recommend choosing another hotel somewhere else as this one just isn’t worth it at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!

  Terrible accommodation

  Where do I begin! Stunning location - that’s the only good thing about it. VERY basic accommodation, which is in need of a total overhaul. All public areas in need of a deep clean. We also had a cockerel outside our room - every morning! Staff seem to have given up - which doesn’t help. Pool area - no loungers or parasols, they have all been moved to the beach, many now broken. Even if the staff would put them back in place at night then that would help. Restaurant open for basic breakfast, I had to ask a member of staff for cutlery as the trays were empty. Restaurant not open for lunch or dinner - I was told to go somewhere else! No alcohol served at this hotel - there is a bar area but never staffed so you cant even get a soft drink. I could go on and on, very disappointed and certainly would not recommend this hotel - and I will be passing this review to our travel agent so they know what they are sending customers to.

  Inaccurate description

  Misleading photos and information.There are no sunloungers on terrace or round pool. There is on sun umbrellas on whole site. There is no bar and restaurant closes all day and night after breakfast.Very tired and not clean. Windows, tiles and mirrors filthy.Compare size of tree in my photo to theirs..leads me to believe their pictures were taken years ago.Not worth the money compared to much nicer resorts in this lovely location.

  Avoid if you can

  Avoid if your staying more than a night , it’s dated room ok bit dirty , toilet dirty and old , no night life bar or restaurant , town is a 1.5 mile walk if your brave , long boat is 100 THB each way , they say it operates late , but I would not risk it , try and get a hotel near town on beach
