    This was our second stay at Phi Phi relax beach resort.The arrival in Tonsai can be hectic, but the boatman to take us to the hotel quickly let us know where to store our luggage while we waited for departure.Some of the hotel staff recognized us upon arrival, which brought lots of joy to both us and our two children. During our stay we were given several gifts by the staff ranging from snacks, hair clips and even a t-shirt for our son. Nee brought lots of joy to us, as well did Wawa, Sarissa, and the remaining members of the staff.The hotel is located 30 minutes from Tonsai Pier and apart from a walkway to a local view point, there's a lovely white-sand beach to spend your time on. Just 20 meters from the high-tide water line there's a big reef housing many different fish species, morays, urchins and more. So this location is perfect for diving and snorkeling entusiasts.The hotel even provides the ability to rent snorkeling gear for 50 bath per day. A very fair price.The selection of food and drinks + the quality is great, and we've faced no issues with either.

    Loved this place. Location was round the bay from main town but easy to get to. Rooms are basic but clean. What makes this place are the amazing staff. Whether in the restaurant, bar or elsewhere they were all really friendly. The football matches were good fun!

    Remote but amazing. Need strong legs for the hills to long beach and to your room.

    What a fantastic place to stay. You need to be fit for the hills definitely not accessible. Sea was amazing and we had a great room with a view if long beach.Tail boat transfer only so we only did 2 nights as it is quite remote.Our room was very big and had Slippers and PJs a nice touch.Fire show was OK but a young child was doing it with is parents.

    We stayed here for two nights, after booking this accommodation I was worried about the wet landing and having to carry our luggage which were two medium sized suitcases however the staff were amazing and came to the boat to help carry everything. The accommodation was small little huts on stilts, they did not have air-conditioning but two fans were supplied. The bed was extremely firm and had a mosquito net around it which we did not use, but I did use the spray that was supplied to spray the room before going to bed.The toilet and the shower were down a very deep step, which was difficult at night, the shower was very clean but dated and the water from the shower ran right across the bathroom floor in front of the toilet and the sink which was not ideal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, sunbeds were available on the beach. Definitely worth taking your snorkel here you can snorkel straight off of the beach in front of the hotel, better in high tide. When going back to our accommodation after sunset, there were definitely mosquitoes in the grounds and would suggest carrying your spray at all times. The breakfast was quite limited and hot food cold, a self-service buffet but food that you ordered and paid for throughout the day was excellent quality and the price was good considering there was nowhere else to go. We saw a lot of monkeys at this resort and many were eating leftover food from the bins behind the kitchen, the staff did not seem concerned about this. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the two days that we were there, however, if it has been any longer, I think I would’ve been boredWe did go on a trip to the five bays via the hotel which I would recommend instead of going around to Phi Phi pier.

    I stayed 3 nights at Phi Phi Relax in January. The hotel is only accessible by boat, and they offer the arrival and departure trips; the remaining trips cost 150 Baht per person, each way. It's expensive for what it offers. The most affordable cabins don't have air conditioning or a minibar. Water and towels are provided daily. The hotel is in the middle of the bush with many animals. Breakfast is reasonable, and dinner, being the only option, isn't bad or excessively expensive. The BIGGEST problem with the hotel is the lady at reception, the most unfriendly person I've ever seen in a hotel, tarnishing the perception of Thai friendliness. If I return to Thailand, I would never stay at this hotel again because what it offers for the price is very poor. In the end, when I did the math, they even wanted to charge me for the arrival boat.
