Location

A sublime place to relax, this hotel is situated on a small slope nestled in lovely landscaped grounds in Laguna Phuket. Guests may enjoy fabulous views out over the lush green fairways. The nearest sandy beach and a tropical lagoon are only steps from the hotel. The property has great accessibility. It is only 20 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to Phuket Town and Patong Beach.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 31 junior suites and 160 suites located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and a fan ensure comfortable indoor temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station is also provided as standard. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Sport

Guests can relax and cool off in 3 outdoor pools, and the indoor pool ensures that swimming is always an option, no matter the weather. There are also 3 children's pools. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, tennis and crazy golf or, for a fee, golf, are offered at the hotel. With windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa and a sauna and, for an additional fee, a steam bath and massage treatments. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as a buffet, and guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu for dinner. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    The management office is a disgrace. They will fine you for minor things and pocket the cash. Very moody and generally negative. I would not stay again.

    Dirty apartment. The front desk at Reserva are woeful. Aggresssive male for starters. Overcharged on bike rental. I was then fined for putting a towel on a balcony and leaving shoes outside my door for very short periods. No prior warnings! They then lied and said I had been warned.Principal,not the money. Took the tarnish off an amazing 3 weeks. I've stayed here twice before,will not be returning out of principal.

    The resort is located within a large complex of Laguna. The buildings are well maintained and the room is spacious and not pricey. The downside is that my room is not within walking distance to the beach. Quite dusty in some corner of the room. The sand in Bangtao beach is not as white as that of other beaches in Phuket though. It is a bit far away from other magnet destinations of Phuket and therefore much less crowded compared to other beaches there. I feel it is a safe place.

    For me a perfect location as I always travel with my own car. Spacious 65 sqm apartment with nice view over pool and golf course. Pleasant and quiet, but close enough to shopping and restaurants at the entrance of the Laguna. Well equipped and well maintained with everything clean and in good working condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay again during my future business visits to Phuket.

    Allamanda Laguna has grown dramatically in size, that even the taxi finds it hard to locate what apartment block tou are booked into. Being the size they are, the management cannot (and do not) cope. Better than sleeping by the side of the road. But still not enjoyable.
