Location

The resort is located on beautiful Bangtao Beach and within easy reach of most tourist destinations in the area. It is just a 20-minute drive from Patong with its exciting shops, wonderful Thai and world cuisine, entertainment options and colourful nightlife and is approximately 30 minutes by car from Phuket Town. The resort is within easy reach of the Phuket International Airport, located approximately 20 km away.

Facility

In addition to 16 villas/houses, guests can also choose from a selection of 32 non-smoking rooms, including 16 double rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy the view of the pool from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Parasols are available to guests. The pool bar serves a selection of refreshing drinks. The resort offers outdoor sports, including cycling/mountain biking, volleyball, golf and fishing or, for a fee, horse riding. With snorkelling or, for a fee, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The resort's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and badminton. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Breakfast and lunch are served every day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    We love this hotel .. so friendly only a few steps from the beach with lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms are comfortable with nice decor balcony’s and bathrooms.. tea and coffee facilities large fridges in each room.. very nice pool and terrace.. this was our second year at this hotel.. we fully recommend.. also great for families with children. Great value . Sue Arnett

    The hotel was small but the rooms were spacious. Our room was overlooking the extremely busy road, so we didn't use the balcony due to the noise & fumes. Not a big issue for us though. The room was very spacious with 2 large, very comfortable beds. Unfortunately the furniture was dated, the curtains were very grubby and it needed a lick of paint. The bathroom was a decent size with a good shower. There was a strange cabbage/onion smell in the bathroom coming from somewhere. Not the best! The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. I believe the bedding was changed daily as were the towels too. Excellent service! The staff in the reception area were very pleasant and helpful. A nice gesture was to provide each guest with a towel to use by the pool or on the beach. When you returned it at the end of the day, you were given a replacement. The breakfast area was a little disappointing. We only went for breakfast 3 times during our 2 week stay. It was 500 bhat per person, per day. Each time, by 9.30am there was very little food, cold juices or milk available. The staff seemed reluctant to replenish anything, even when asked. This was despite breakfast being available until 10.30. The gardens were very pretty & well tended. The pool was lovely, although it didn't appear to be cleaned very often or very thoroughly. The water appeared quite green and the edges scummy some days. The pool does need some serious attention as there were numerous areas of missing mosaic tiles around the edges & on the bottom.The location was very good, with a 7.11 supermarket next door, some good restaurants close by, a couple of decent bars & the beach was just a stones throw away. Wow, the beach! We loved it! It was beautiful, white sand with warm crystal clear water. Bliss! 😊. All in all, a very good holiday 👍

    We spent a couple of weeks here in early March. Staff were very kind and our room was ready early which was a welcome relief after a long flight. Our room 108 was a poolside villa and very quiet, you could here some distant music from some of the bars nearby, but it wasnt at all anywhere loud enough to be annoying. Room had a shower room, sink etc,,, ( i need a Thai bum gun at home ! ) Rooms were cleaned and bedding changed daily, shoes straightened as well ! ... Bed was huge and comfortable. Room had a fridge which was topped up with water and soft drinks ready for arrival. Lovely touch. Plenty of breakfast variety for all tastes and great coffee to kick start the day. We spent days out driving, parking was tight, but adequate as most guests had mopeds, so no hassle for us. Coming back after a day out we found the pool very clean and refreshing, there was enough sunbeds for all. Our rooms had a patio with our own sunbeds anyway. Beach was just two minutes walk away. Resort staff, we very polite and hard working, wether doing rooms or tending the grounds. I noticed security in the evening and gates closed later on for added safety and peace of mind. All in all, a very relaxed stay for us, right in the best part of Bang Tao, North of all the Phuket party places, and not too far from the airport. We loved our stay and will plan to go back again.

    Best hotel on Phuket Island!

    Andaman Sea Resort is the best resort on Phuket Island. Situated close to the beach on beatiful Bang Tao Beach. I recommend a stay if you are looking for a nice hotel that is clearly better than the big hotels nearby. The hotel is close to restaurants and shops.Ulf Sweden.

    Brilliant service great value. It is very clean, good room service and is central to all the things you need. Air conditioning is excellent so I highly recommend.Good fridge size and the toilet and bathroom is very clean. For mid budget or below this is perfect
