  this little Swiss/Thai owned property has friendly staff, well equipped rooms, quiet location yet central. ideal for traveling men or women. I would stat there anytime again. the rooms are all different, privat jacuzzi in some. I opted for the executive suite on the top floor.rgds Daniel

  Were made to feel welcome as soon as my partner and I arrived at the hotel, and shown to our room on the top floor. Bed was huge and fairly comfortable, if a bit hard, and the bathroom was clean and functional. Towards the end of our 3 night stay we decided to extend by a couple of nights. We were effectively upgraded for free, with a larger room with balcony for the same price.At the end of our stay we needed help to organise a taxi to a friends house which was out of town and hard to explain. The ladies on reception were happy to help. I'd gladly recommend this to my friends.Thank you Baipho!

  Nice room, huge hard bed

  We got a welcome drink when we got there late at night.Loved the room! Nicely decorated though a little crowded feeling, clean, we had a jacuzzi, it was nice, my husband is 5'10. If he was in the middle of the bed, at no point could he stretch and touch any edge of the bed...though it wasn't the softest bed, most beds we slept in whilst in Thailand were hard like this except when we were ok ok phangan.Loved that breakfast was included.This is a ver late review, just realized I never reviews it. So we stayed there in July 2010 but trip advisor won't let me pick that date.

  Great Place To Stay In Patong Beach

  I just spent 2 weeks at Baithong Lifestyle & really loved my stay here.It's located in a perfect position,about 5-10 minutes walk from the big shopping mall & Bangla Rd nightlife & just a little further to the beach.Although it's close to the action it is in a quiet street so no worries for a good sleep.The room I stayed in was No.3 & has a separate jacuzzi area with flat screen which is great for relaxing.The bed is is bigger than a king & there is a separate bathroom..There is a safe & free wifi in the room.If you don't get my room there is a great rooftop area with 2 jacuzzies,shower,toilet & sunbeds.Rudi,the owner & his staff are great with excellent english.My friend stayed at the 5 star Merlin on the beach,paid twice as much money & my room was much better.I really loved that I could eat breakfast up until 6pm free included as I like the nightlife & like to sleep-in.The free pick-up from the airport is also a great bonus.There is a nice bar & dining area on the ground floor.Rudy has also decorated the hotel with nice artworks.Cleaning staff very good & will still make up your room after 12pm within reason.If you want a driver to show you around I recommend this guy Syn +66810872700 email synthanonchai@hotmail.comHe has a brand new 4wd,drives safe & has good english

  Superb and reasonably priced boutique style hotel in the heart of Patong

  I have stayed at this hotel, and it's sister hotels the 'Saladee' and 'Baipho', on numerous occasions over the last 2 years and when the choice is there it's about the only place I really like to stay when in Patong.The hotel's owner Rudi and his team have done a great job in creating such a quality hotel in central Patong where there is so much (overpriced) mediocrity. The staff are really, really friendly throughout, at reception, in the restaurant and bar and the cleaning staff. The hotel offers a free pick-up taxi from the airport (worth 600 THB) and their drivers have always been there. Once at the hotel, check in is quick and painless, with a refreshing fruit drink offered. They will normally ask that you settle your account on check-in which can be done by card or cash. It's no problem if you need a day or two to get this sorted.The rooms I find to be very good and range from Standard up to the very attractive Penthouse. For me, if staying a few days, even up to a week, a Standard room is fine but if staying longer I generally opt for an Executive Deluxe which is a little bigger, has more storage and also a room safe.All the rooms are really nicely furnished with very tasteful artwork on the walls, there is a modern flat screen TV, a DVD player, tea / coffee making facilities and a very large, comfortable bed!! The prices I think are also VERY good when you consider what some hotels, little more than glorified guest houses, are charging. There is free wifi in every room. As with any hotel in Phuket, prices will vary according to season.The hotel has it's own restaurant serving an excellent range of very reasonably priced Western and Thai and the hotel offers a free breakfast to guests which is served up to 6pm, superb for the late risers. The restaurant also combines to house the well-stocked bar and there is ample seating, both in low comfy chairs (with tables) and at hi-stools at the bar. As mentioned, the girls that work here have mostly been here a long time (as at the other two hotels) and are very friendly and chatty, more than happy to share a beer with you and give you the low-down on Patong. It's worth trying Rudi's speciality cocktail a 'Ghost Sling', whew!! The bar is great place to relax at any time of the day or night, either before, after or even instead of heading out into town. Adjacent to the bar there is an internet access room with two terminals available for guest use.The hotel also has a roof-top lounging area with a very large jacuzzi and a swimming pool is available nearby through an arrangement with an adjacent hotel.The hotel is very well placed, about a 5 minute walk to the mega-mall Jungceylon (complete with multiplex cinema, banks, shops and eateries), 7 minutes to Bangla (the heart of Patong nightlife) and around 10-15 minutes walk to the beach.Sadly I didn't take any pics of the hotel but there are plenty available at the hotels website. Baithong is superb hotel to stay, as are it's two sister hotels. They are very popular so it's advisable to book early!
