Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     We just spent one night there during vegetarian festival. The owner was super helpful, even before our arrival we didn't have to wait long for his replies to all our questions and concerns. The room had no window, it was clean, but it smelt a bit weird tough. The hostel also offers exchange services with a decent rate.

    We went into the hostel to exchange dollars and the owner gave us an excellent rate. Then we asked the owner about booking the Simon star show and he called the show and got the info for us and booked the show for us for 600 baht when the show rate was 900 baht. Then we asked the owner about a taxi there and he then offered to drive us there for 200 baht when the rate for a normal taxi would have been around 400-500 baht. Then he offered to take us back to our hotel which was in Naithon from the show which was an hour drive from Phuket town...again cheaper than the normal rate. We didn't stay at the hostel....but the owner provided us with a great service at fair prices!

    Evening staff have very little English but everything else was perfect! Gotum himself is so friendly and so helpful! Beautiful town and very cheap buses to chalong bay and patong beach! Loved every minute of it 😊

    Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location if you're staying in Phuket town. The Sunday night market is right outside the front of the hostel. The rooms are clean and air con works well. Good wifi too.

    Stayed at Gotum 2 for two nights with three of my friends. Paid for a mixed bed dorm room with shared bathroom and when we checked in we got our own private room with own bathroom which is perfect. Also we checked in a couple hours early with no problem. Rooms were very clean and provided with towel. Free bottle of water each morning which was a nice touch. Reception was very helpful with how to get around and always giving us the cheapest options. Also on arrival received a taxi voucher for 250bht of a journey in Phuket. Lovely stay would recommend.
