Fantastic stay for the second time

This was our second time staying at Grand Kata VIP and once again we had a wonderful experience. Even though we initially had a couple of minor issues with the Wi-Fi and the room, the staff went above and beyond to resolve everything. They moved us to a new room the next day at no extra charge, and after that, everything was perfect. Truly excellent service.The location is super convenient: just a 5-7 minute walk to two different food markets, a beautiful Chinese temple, and a big 7-Eleven, equal walking time of 15(?) minutes to both Kata and Karon beaches. Make sure to visit all. You really couldn’t ask for a better spot.The rooms themselves are fantastic. We compared them to the nearby Wekata hotel (at which we have stayed too), and Grand Kata’s rooms are much better: spacious, two-bedroom suites with two separate balcony exits. It made our stay so much more comfortable.If you’re looking for comfort, great service, and a perfect location in Phuket, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back again! Really poor experience

Hotel in need of renovation. Room with access to pool is noisy and worn out. Room is really hot and shower water pressure is really low. Most of the sun beds were broken. breakfast was bad. For the price of this hotel you can get so much better.
