Location

The resort is located on picturesque hilly slopes on top of Phuket sunset coast's Kalim bay. The property overlooks the Andaman Sea and the entire Patong and Kalim beach. Just minutes away from many attractions, the resort is a perfect place for all kinds of holidaymakers. It is approximately 5 minutes to Patong beach and Patong’s shopping and entertainment centre, while Phuket Airport and Phuket town are 25 minutes from the hotel.

Facility

The 190 rooms, including 52 junior suites, 23 suites, 24 single rooms and 81 double rooms, have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 10 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy beach volleyball and golf. For a fee, crazy golf is also available. Water sports enthusiasts are offered aquafit. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and a solarium. Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Dinner options include a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    This was our second time staying at the Kalima in Patong (last visit May 24) and we would absolutely come back again and again.The views at this hotel are breathtaking, lounging by the pool looking out towards the sea is just ahh dreamy!Staff are absolutely amazing, they are all brilliant at their jobs and a special mention has to go to Pang who made us the best drinks both this holiday and last time. It really was great to see the same friendly faces who were always willing to go above and beyond.Rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable and always clean.Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts you will get. Loads of fresh options every day to choose from, it’s well ran and the restaurant again has outstanding views looking over Patong. The hotel has excellent facilities all round, a good gym you can use, small mini golf course, a shop on site, spa services and the brand new sauna and steam room opened on this recent trip.We really are looking forward to our next opportunity to stay here!

    🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Exceptional Care, Love, and True Compassion – A Resort with a Heart.This was my second stay at the Kalima Resort & Spa (having visited in November last year and returning this June), and I can say with total certainty that I will always choose this hotel on my next visits to Phuket. During this stay, I unfortunately fell severely sick and became completely bedridden, requiring in-room doctor visits. The level of love, genuine compassion, and flawless care I received from the entire staff throughout this incredibly rough time was nothing short of life-saving. I am forever grateful.I want to extend my deepest, full-hearted appreciation to the incredible teams across these departments:Front Office & Guest Management Services (FO)A massive thank you to the phenomenal Front Office team who coordinated everything seamlessly and watched over me like family.     Excellent stay!! We had a swim up room over Christmas and it was perfect! The room had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy! The view from our sun terrace was amazing across the bay. The hotel staff were lovely and really helpful/welcoming. We had an issue with our meal Christmas Eve but the staff were helpful in sorting this. This would be the only let down as it was advertised as a meal with entertainment but there was just a few songs from Carol singers so this could have improved and continued into the evening. The breakfast was perfect for us as well. If you use the gym, it’s a bit small so can get busy. Overall 10/10 and would definitely recommend!     It was a wonderful stay. The service was excellent. I would especially like to mention Tony at the reception, who made our stay very pleasant and treated us with exceptional kindness. He explained many things to us about Phuket and was always helpful and professional. If I were the hotel manager, I would definitely give him a managerial position. He is a valuable asset to the hotel.
