    Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, great location, staff were amazing especially our housekeeper Prisan!     Amazing stay again

    Last stayed here 9 years ago, as was attending a family wedding at another hotel. This time we were a large group of 20+ for another family wedding. We upgraded to a pool access room, tui wouldn't let us book this due to a child on our room booking. We'll worth it, lovely room, perfect for the children to nap in the shade and you can still be in the water keeing cool. Some family were in the new blue rooms, but we prefer the main hotel. It was exactly as we remember from last time. Breakfast is basic on the English breakfast front but plentiful, the males all loved the thai currys etc. Lots of restaurants close by, beach not to far and tuk tuk at night, the kids loved blasting your own music and lights flashing. Pauline ( customer service manager)was amazing, arranged photos of us all as we left kata palm to travel to wedding venue. Even arranged for the bride and grooms rooms to be decorated on there return. Thankyou so much for this. Phuket is much more commercialised now, lots of Russians who are very abrupt. We would return to this hotel if we come to phuket again.     Good hotel and value for money

    The hotel is beautiful, and the pool is really big and it’s lovely to swim in. The pool and pool area is kept clean and well looked after. The staff are all very friendly, and are attentive and greet you at every opportunity. The cleaners were especially friendly and it was always nice walking past them and them giving you a big smile.I cannot review the restaurant as we didn’t eat in there but it looked nice, and for Songkran it had a big event and buffet.The breakfast was okay, nice omelette. Not many options for pastry’s, only bread ect. The hotel isn’t as close to the beach as we thought. It is a bit of a walk, and when it’s hot the walk does feel a little longer. A few occasions we got a tuk tuk to the end of the beach. It’s easy to get tuk tuk or taxis from the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, markets and a couple of bars. My only advice would be when booking, if your in the building where the roof pool and gym is, it can sometimes feel like your not part of Kata Palm resort, it is a building that is quite a walk to the very back of the resort, and I’ll be honest the walk isn’t pretty. Inside the building to get to your room it’s very dark blue, no windows and long corridors with one elevator, and sometimes you are waiting for it to go to each floor. It’s not easy to just pop back to the hotel to drop something off or grab something. I do believe though in the other buildings it would be a lot better. I think we prefer smaller resorts though so that’s just our preference. Our Royal Blue Wing locates on the back side, the rooms in this building are quite big and the price is reasonable. The main attractions are the Fitness room and the Roof top pool where guests can enjoy the nice view, specially early morning and the evening for sun set time. We also have the rooms which are in the main wing and near to the lobby so guests can choose which room type to stay. We hope to see you again next time if you come back to visit Phuket and have a nice day!

    We had booked this hotel on Agoda but on check in the hotel refused to honour our reservation and told us we had to pay directly to the hotel and at a higher rate ! Customer service was none existent Vichai Klinpikul, Other at Kata Palm Resort, responded to this review Our hotel doesn't work with Agoda so we will not accept their bookings from any platforms. We also cannot get there payment too. We have to say very sorry for this. All guests can contact Agoda and get the refund back from them.

    Great holiday, lovely hotel.

    We have just returned from Kata Palm Resort. The first thing I would like to say is the staff look very happy, from the front desk to the gardeners. The swimming pools are surrounded by trees, giving a very chilled vibe and perfect mix of shade and sun, enough sun shades around too. The location is great, lots just outside the hotel, bars, shops, restaurants. The beautiful beach a few minutes walk away. Our room was in the Royal Blue Wing, the view was not great but we were not in our room much as the local area was great. Despite lots around us, we were not bothered by noise. While there was not an huge choice at breakfast, we never went hungry. We took part in a fruit carving lesson, while we were not very good, it was great fun. My husband and I had our marriage blessed in Wat Chalong Temple, the hotel staff helped to plan this for us, everything was perfect. Many thanks to you all at the hotel for a great stay. Our resort is not the beach resort but is in the walking distance and it is very peaceful inside the resort. There are some comments told that our Superior building is far from the lobby but we also have the chance to book Deluxe room, Grand Deluxe room or Deluxe Pool Access rooms which they are near the lobby.
