40 single rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge).     Decent Budget Friendly Hotel

    The main attraction of PJ Resortel is the location. Easy walking distance to Banzaan Market, muay Thai boxing arena, Soi Sansabai and only 10 minutes to the beach. Plenty of good restaurants around and a mini mart just around the corner along with a pharmacy. The hotel itself is a little dated but generally in reasonable repair. I booked though AIRBNB and got an amazing deal for 8 weeks. My room was clean and tidy though a little dull. Shower water heat and pressure was good but you had to shower with the curtain open as the area was a little confined. Issues with the toilet, a mechanism in the cistern would stick at times causing water to continually drip into the basin which would drive you crazy. You had to jiggle the lever to make it stop. Small TV in the room along with tea and coffee making facilities, room safe, hair dryer and good WIFI signal. AC worked fine and was quiet. Breakfast was a bit same same each day and cost 150 baht unless it was part of your room package. There is a gym on the ground floor and pool on the top floor. Laundry facilities were available also, 50 baht without ironing. Staff were generally friendly enough and for those of you wanting to bring a guest to your room they must leave ID at reception. All in all an enjoyable stay and a place to recommend if can you get a good deal.

    Rooms are disgusting shower is disgusting staff are rude especially reception one with the glasses and a big attitude all nice untill u check our charging a 1000 baht for my son getting a bit of henna ink on the bed sheet missing cup 600 baht balcony looking over bird droppings hardly any sun loungers round the pool behind the beds are filthy supposed to have water daily in our room didn’t happen lucky to get one roll of toilet paper in your room per day staff are argumentative and the place smells of cannabis tidy the same beds with same bedding for two weeks not clean sheets clean towels are few and far between air conditioning dripped for the whole time in two rooms we had stay away from this place I’d u want a nice place to stay

    DO NOT BOOK THERE!!!! Check pics in tripadvisor. Smelly hotel and molt in the bathrooms. I did a non refundable booking 2h before arrival. After seeing 3 rooms we decided to leave due to the unhealthy conditions. The receptionist promised it would not be charges but THEY DID!! I have called them several times and booking.com requested the money as well. DO NOT TUST THEM! book somewhere else, friendly advice

    The location is convenient only if you need to be close to the hospital — which is ironic, because after spending a night here you might actually need one. This place has to be one of the filthiest hotels in Phuket, with rooms covered in mold. After just a single night, I could feel the impact on my breathing and overall health.It’s loud, uncomfortable, and aside from one kind lady, the staff is far from friendly. When I raised my concerns, I was first told no other rooms were available. Then, when I noticed a family room still bookable online, suddenly the excuse became “the manager is sleeping there tonight.” Strange, considering I could still reserve it.There was zero attempt to offer a real solution, and for the sake of my health I had no choice but to check out early. Naturally, the manager refused to refund the remaining three nights, insisting I could move to another room the next day — meaning I’d need to spend yet another night inhaling mold before being transferred to what was likely an identical room. Absolutely not.The customer service is poor, the hotel is run-down, and the photos online must be at least 20 years old. Shame on this place for misleading guests. This hotel is truly one to avoid.

    While the location was good, the room was filthy, stains on the rooms walls, property rundown, and staff don't know the meaning of customer service. I sent laundry away and a pair of shorts didn't return, super cute and unusal. Front desk basically said I was lying, however gave me 300 baht (so I guess they knew). Breakfast is a joke. at 9:50 nothing left, i took a piece of toast on a paper napkin and was heading for my room, staff said I couldn't. I thought I misunderstood, but he came to the elevator as I was about to step in and said 'no'. So I handed him a half eaten piece of toast. Mostly men stay there because it's close to the flight club. Lots of mold in the bathroom. Sink doesn't drain so I wedged open with a tub. Open shower/toilet, not a fan. Night I got in I put the shower on, had a flood, used all my towels and maintenance fellow brought and used more. Took the hotel until 1pm the next day to give a towel. Poor Poor Poor. Moth ball scent everywhere! Won't call a cab either. Read expedia carefully. Showed a nice room with a balcony, small print said no window or balcony, it was like a cave. Pool area is dumpy, never used.
