  From the outside and common areas the building looks pretty run down, but our room was actually big and bright and everything worked. Just located on a busy street but beach is only 10 min walk away. Would have been better but for the staff. Young girls with little English didn't want to talk to us or help us. Regular things like how to get to the airport, need toilet paper in room and requesting late check out were either ignored or not understood. Ok for the price just because other places in phuket r so expensive

  You get what you pay for i have stayed at Regent2002 a few times over the years and the staff have always treated me well.Close to the Restaurants and night life with the simple room is often what people need.

  I stayed there for 4 nights because it was close to my destination. Location: It is on the main street with a small sign. Easy to miss. Especially in the afternoon , it's buried with the street restaurants in front. It's quite close to Patong post office, banks, ATM machines. Right next to the guesthouse, a 24H 711. Many mini stores, pharmacy, fruit stand and street restaurants nearby. 10-15 mins walk to the beach. About 1km to the big mall area.Room & Service:I booked ahead without any deposit. As it's facing the main street, upon arrival, I requested a quiet room. Relatively big and clean room: aircon, TV, satety box(use it when you go out. ALWAYS keep your valuable belongings with you) and mini fridge (useful but quite noisy). Hotwater shower with shower curtain.No swimming pool, but it offers free beach towel. The receptionists speak English, very helpful. Free wifi in the lobby and separate floors. In the lobby, you can find self-service water boiler.Attention: no elevator, narrow stairs.Price:High season (December) 3200THB for 4 nights without breakfast ( less than 100USD) It's affordable. If you are traveling on a budget, you might want try this one.

  Everything was great. I stayed there for four nights and paid 1,600baht. I booked a month early. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and had hot water, the aircon was working fine. They clean the room everyday so yes they do enter your room but they have safe. However, i didn't actually use the safe. There was nothing stolen. Hahaha! Staff is very friendly and knows English. Outside, various food stores. There were two 7/11 and family mart. There is also a pharmacy. You won't have problem for food even if they don't serve breakfast. Food in there local stores usually costs like 150baht per viand. This guesthouse is also very near to patong beach. Walking distance is like 5minutes. Starbucks and Mcdonalds are like 1kilometers away. Hey, you came to Phuket to see its beauty and stay in hotel just to rest, right? This is definitely it!

  I've been here for 15 days on March 2015. Cheap price 650 bath per night (no breakfast). Good location: a lot of pharmacies, small markets, restaurants, less than 10 minutes on foot from Patong beach, a real cute coffee shop for breakfast just on the back of the block, safe area, helpuf staff (young ladies Rum and Tum at the reception......but speak a basic english); they arranged me a discounted transfer to get to and to leave the Regent. WI FI free and excellent. Night concierges....very sleepy, About the room: on the back so I avoided the noisy one facing the main Street, double bedded, spacious, 1 desk, 1 table, at least 2 chairs, frigobar with daily 2 mineral water bottles free of charge, air conditioning worked properly, shower/toilet ok, electronic safety box in the furniture......no other remarks. I highly recommend this solution
