    I thought this was a rather good hotel, a stone's throw from Jungceylon Mall, Bangla Road and the beach. Very central location. Rooms are spacious. Beds a bit hard, but okay. Towels are clean, though one of mine was very rough. The toilet was reasonable. Not much amenities by way of toothpaste/brush, shampoo was in packs. Balcony was nice but too hot to sit outside. Only one elevator which can be slow. The 1000 thb cash deposit sat on a lot of money I couldn't spend. Pool opened only from 7 am to 7 pm. I didn't use it. Overall a gem in the heart of Patong

    Sun Sea Sand Hotel is a gem found in the heart of Phuket. We have travelled many times during the year to this Hotel. My Husband and I went on a chilled out relaxed holiday. Over the years eco-friendly projects have been suggested by the Hotel with some customers either liking or disliking the Ethos and the Hotel responding accordingly.Breakfast extremely good value for the money. In High Season many Guests may cause a slower service for the staff in the kitchen. Any problems that we have experienced in and outside of the Hotel have been rectified extremely quickly. MJK Launderette is next-door to the Hotel. 24 hour service has professional friendly Staff. The Hotels Motto quoted is the Customer is always Right.Room extremely clean with the staff going over above and beyond.My Husband walks for miles but I prefer to lie on the sun-bed. Plenty of bars, restaurants etc for you to visit.

    Not sure about the reviews talking about moldy ceilings, we didn't have that experience. Stayed here for a week and it was perfect! Short walk to the beach with outdoor showers to rinse sand off when you get back. Pool is well maintained. The studio we were in had a little kitchen so we could cook most of our own food. Everything was clean inside and out and well maintained. Definitely coming back here if I come the island again.

    I will not stay here if I was paid. Mouldy rooms. Glamorized pics that are digitally enhanced. Thankfully Agoda helped us get a refund for the early check out. Never again will i stay here or recommend this “hotel”. Hotel claims they tried to upgrade us to another hotel, however this was 2km away. How is this a viable solution? Supposedly changed rooms only to be confronted with more mould.

    Photoshopped pictures - Misleading photos make the property appear pristine, but the reality is far from it. The rooms were mold-infested with a strong odor that made it difficult to breathe. I had to check out two days early, and no refund was provided. If you want a disappointing experience and to be deceived, this is the place to book.
