    Beautiful location but very flawed

    So I planned and booked my 38th birthday trip and first trip to Thailand thinking it was going to be the experience of a lifetime and unfortunately it was not. I do want to preface my review with the fact that the grounds were beautiful and the views are immaculate however for what I paid it was a very u pleasant experience. So when I initially checked in, we were greeted by very friendly staff who brought us refreshments. Awesome! we were checked in and taken to our room. Well upon arriving to our room, my boyfriend and I wanted to shower and get settled. Well as I am using the toilet and get up to wipe and get in the shower my hair gets snagged. I call out for my boyfriend to see what I'm hooked to and he comes over and tells me that my hair is hooked to an opening in the wall that has exposed wires. He unhooks me I proceed to take a shower and once I get out, I go to turn the Ac down and the whole Electrical panel for the room falls out of the socket. Now I'm worried so I call down to inform staff and request towels. My boyfriend and I end up leaving to explore Phuket, upon arrival back we notice we have fresh towels however I don't see that anything else has been touched or fixed. This same night we wanted to use the robes that are given to guests to wear while there and my boyfriends robe did not have a full rope to tied around his waste as it was ripped smh. We go to bed and wake up and guess what it's my birthday yayyyyy. The morning of my birthday, I order a floating breakfast at approximately 7:30/8am and immediately get in my private pool. It comes, we eat and swim for a bit and take in the view. My boyfriend and I get out the pool to go take a shower and get ready for our activities that day and are meet with intense banging on our wall that's shared by our neighboring room. I'm scared so I peak my head outside of our front door and I see a very big, very intimidating angry man walking over. I ask him if there's a problem and he starts cursing out(on my birthday) and telling me they have a baby that's trying to sleep. I advise him that I'm sorry and it's mid morning not the middle of the night but all he has to do was come over and say that not be aggressive and rude. After the altercation, I immediately went back in the room and called the front desk staff. I am scared and sobbing and all they said was that we are both their guests and that they could move my room. I couldn't help but wonder why if I'm the one being attacked, why did I have to move rooms and not them?I couldn't help but think it's because we're black and the aggressors were Caucasian. Mind you we have an excursion to make it to but instead we packed up and moved rooms. We move rooms, fast forward everything seems to be ok electrically in the new room. However there are ants everywhere. We told the front desk this. We leave and go out to explore we come back and ordered room service. Well guess what we decided to shower before we ate and when we get out of the shower the entire plate is covered in ants, food that I was still billed for. Although scenically this resort is beautiful, for the price I paid I expected a way better experience and hospitality.
