  Great for families and large groups

  We visited during off season, so this resort is a bit rough around the edges with some unsightly constructions and noises going on. Still, we enjoyed it enormously, especially for the poolside room. The kids loved visiting the other families via the pool. The beach is not as nice and clean as Sunrise on the other side, but offers enough snorkeling options even for young children. The resort is conveniently located near the Walking Street. As it's during low season, half of the island was closed, so food options are quite limited. Still, Koh Lipe seemed more charming with less tourists during this time.

  Akira Lipe Resort.....Fantastic

  We stayed in the Akira Lipe Resort for 5 nights. It is our first time in Koh Lipe. It is an excellent place. Location is very convenient, close to the inmigration point but far enough that you hardly notice is there while you enjoy the beach. Even though is a 5 minutes walk qfrom "Walking Street " there is not noise at night so you can sleep well.The hotel is beautiful, clean and lively, it has a great atmosphere around the main swimming pool. It is wonderful for "happy hours".The Room was spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean. Service is superb. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Breakfast is delicious. It has an egg station, and they have a variety of other dishes. They do change the menu every day, so you won't get bored, coffee could be improved (my only criticism). Excellent value for the money. We really enjoyed our time here, and we would come back to this resort

  Our stay at Akira Lipe Resort on Koh Lipe, Thailand, was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a truly special place in an incredible location.The resort itself is stunning, set right on the beach with beautiful views and a relaxed tropical atmosphere. The main pool sits directly beside the beach, creating a fantastic setting where you can swim while looking out over the sea. It’s hard to imagine a better place to relax.We stayed in a Superior Pool View room on the ground floor, which was fantastic. The room was spacious, extremely clean, and very well designed. The bed deserves a special mention — it was incredibly comfortable, the kind you wish you could take home with you. One of the best features of the room was the direct pool access. When you step out onto the balcony, you walk straight into the pool, which made the whole experience feel even more luxurious.The staff and service throughout the resort were exceptional. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and it genuinely felt like they wanted to make sure guests had the best possible stay.The location is also perfect. The resort is just a few steps from Walking Street, where you’ll find the island’s bars, shops, and evening entertainment. Despite being so close to the action, the resort still feels peaceful and relaxing. It’s also only a short walk from where the ferry arrives, which makes getting to and from the island incredibly convenient.Koh Lipe itself has a wonderfully chilled-out atmosphere. Unlike some other Thai destinations, there was no sign of the seedy activity you sometimes encounter elsewhere. Instead, the island has an amazingly tranquil, welcoming feeling that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.We honestly can’t speak highly enough of both Akira Lipe Resort and the beautiful island it’s located on. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression and somewhere we would return to without hesitation.

  Hotel with low expectation. The workers were not very friendly. Only some of them. The room was ok. Nice. But lot of mosquitoes. The Air condition was making some noise. The worst: WIFI. In all hotel. Very bad and not good quality. The room was nice and well equipes. We had a villa. Close to the beach. But the beach is not very good. Many boats. The breakfast was good and varied. The coffee horrible. ( powder). The restaurant at evening was very very bad. We couldn way good as the pad Thai was not good. We saw many tourists leaving a lot of food in their dishes. Only good was the happy hour drinks and the singers. The lady singing was nice and the ambient was brilliant. A shame but I come not back a

  Lovely stay

  The hotel is situated in a good location on the beach where the breakfast is served in front of the sea. There are 3 pools and lovely gardens with plenty of sun beds. Rooms were large and modern. The large bathroom had both bath and shower plus 2 sinks with quality shampoos and shower gel. The room also had very good storage facilities and bath robes/slippers etc. Beds are large and comfy and the cleaning maids did a wonderful job keeping the sheets fresh and changed most days. The hotel reception staff were wonderful too and very professional and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was varied and good quality. There was a separate egg station and you could even get Thai teas there too. The restaurant had the normal cold and hot buffet choices in the main restaurant. The front pool had a swim up bar and comfy seating and cocktails could be enjoyed at happy hour time. The hotel also does barbecue on the beach each night. It’s situated about 5 minutes from walking street and not too far from the pier. The hotel also arrange to take you to the pier when you leave which is another added bonus.
