    They’ve given up

    rating14 Mar 2026

There was once a nice hotel here, but they seem to have given up on running it. The only meals offered are a terrible breakfast, other than that the bars and restaurants are closed. Tennis court in disrepair, furniture falling apart, tap water not drinkable but they’ll still charge through the nose for bottled water. The laundry was good and the rooms nice, and the location is great, such a shame nobody can be bothered to make this a good experience.

    Great overall experience

    rating26 Feb 2026

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Rooms and all the grounds were kept very clean and tidy. The staff was quickly responsive and friendly with all our needs. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool area was pristine for relaxing and swimming. although the restaurant only served breakfast (restaurant was not open lunch & dinner) and the swim up bar inside the pool was not open, staff was readily available at the bar, which is right next to the pool. Staff assisted us with their corporate WiFi use, so we had WiFi service on all the grounds (rooms included). The tennis courts are not kept up too well - there are some cracks that have been patched & some that haven’t. (We still managed to play some light tennis on them without much issue.) The place is “outdated,” as stated in reviews I read prior. However this did not mean dirty, non-functioning or uncomfortable. There are several restaurants in walking distance & the direct access to a very quiet beach was amazing. We would definitely return.

    Thanks to the staff!

    rating14 Jan 2026

Initially, we booked with Grafton but were later moved to Le Grand. I was extremely disappointed at first due to the negative reviews. However, as this was a last minute change and other accommodations were fully booked, we decided to give it a chance. From the moment we arrived, the experience was pleasantly surprising. We were warmly welcomed by Nekisha and Keyon, which immediately set a positive tone. Our room was clean, and we appreciated the little details provided by the housekeeping staff.Breakfast was consistently delicious, and the service from Annika and Teneya was exceptional. We genuinely looked forward to breakfast each morning, and the dining area was always clean, comfortable, and spacious.Overall, the staff significantly elevated our stay. They were friendly, attentive, helpful and accommodating. While the hotel would benefit from updates and a deep clean to the rooms and common areas, which is ultimately up to the owners, the staff remain the hotel’s greatest asset.Special thanks to Annika, Teneya, Nekisha, Keyon, Loui, Akine, housekeeping and the bartender for making our stay a positive and memorable one. We’ll definitely stay again. A note: while there are nearby restaurants such as Waves and Seahorse, they are on the pricier side. More affordable, casual food options are about a 20-minute walk away, but the walk is only bearable when the sun goes down; and there are no pavements. Renting a car would be helpful. The hotel is generally quiet when it comes to guest activities. They have the space and there is a lot of potential to further enhance the guest experience. It would also be appreciated if the hotel offered an airport shuttle included with the room rate or at a more reasonable cost, as TTD$100 for a 10- 15 minute drive to the airport feels excessive.

    Run down property

    rating26 Dec 2025

Check in started with disappointment. We were promised an early checked in at 10.30am and the room was not ready until 2pm. After this episode the rooms were missing linens, the toilet was not flushing, the AC not working, pool furnitures not cleaned, general toilets in the hotel not cleaned, staff poorly trained. Hotel environs not cleaned and all furniture needs upgrading. This hotel should be close for renovation. You can get better accommodations and meals for the same price at international hotels in Tobago such as comfort inn and suites. I will not recommend this hotel.

Don't do it. The views are stunning. That IS IT.

Stayed here from Friday 5th to Friday 12th December 2025.Breakfast only meal option...not good. Takes 40 minutes to cook then cold when it arrives. You have to eat out either at waves, or the Seahorse. Both decent but in my opinion expensive.
