    The location is central to many shops and is right beside the zoo and botanical gardens. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is clean and the food in the restaurants is wonderful

    The surroundings was pleasant by Queen’s Park Savannah. The staff are friendly, polite, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered good variety with some local dishes. The on-site restaurant also offered tasty cuisine. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Enjoyable and nice stay .

    I stayed at Kapok Hotel in February for Trinidad carnival. Pros:1. Locally owned hotel.2. The entire staff (front desk, security, housekeeping, restaurant workers) were very hospitable and professional.3. I had my own room and felt very safe during my stay.4. Hotel is very clean. 5. Daily breakfast included with stay.Cons:1. Outdated furniture.Would I return to Kapok? Absolutely. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Trinidad.
