    Lovely Stay, Disappointing Dining Experience

    I had a mixed experience at Concorde Marco Polo. There are definitely strong points: the hotel itself is lovely, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The cleaning team is fantastic — always polite and doing an excellent job. The pool area is also very nice, relaxing, and well maintained.However, the food and drinks were a big let‑down, especially for a 4‑star hotel, where the standard should be much higher. The cocktails taste like syrup, and the restaurant really needs improvement. Many dishes were too oily, others had no seasoning, and sometimes the food was unexpectedly very spicy. Some items weren’t even labelled, which made choosing food difficult.Overall, the food quality was far below expectations and affected the overall stay.With better food and drinks, this hotel could easily be a great 4‑star experience — but for now, it feels more like a 3‑star stay.
