    Don’t go

    rating30 Aug 2024

Don’t go, it’s horrendous. Dilapidated, dirty and dangerous. Food disgusting. Bathroom hideous. Air con sounds like a jet engine. I could only cope with 2 nights and had to move hotels. Never want to go to Tunisia again, ever. Local airport very nice and modern.

    Awful.... Just Awful....

    rating30 May 2024

Just don't. Don't book. Don't do it to yourself or the people you love. Go somewhere, anywhere, else. The pros for this place are that the mattresses are very comfy, there are a few friendly staff who are very helpful, there is WiFi in the reception area and they cook a mean omelette if you ask for it. That's it. Everything else is awful. No currency exchange which meant a 35 minute walk to somewhere to change money before we could even buy a bottle of water. The hotel is miles from everything and the beach is not 400m by any stretch of the imagination. The pillows are rock hard, the rooms are awful, EVERYTHING is falling apart and ridiculously out dated, not a single toilet seat was attached in the whole place and toilet roll is like gold dust. Breakfast was bread, boiled eggs, ham and cheese triangles, that's all. There was nothing open when we were there just before the start of the season.....no spa, nothing for children, no entertainment, nothing....apart from the same song on repeat that one member of staff put on every day over and over, so loud even my ear phones whacked up high wouldn't drown out. I wouldn't go again if they paid me....

    Not recommended

    rating15 Jan 2024

The whole hotel seems to be stuck in a time warp, it really doesn't look like anything has been done to it since it was built.Lift wasn't working throughout the stay - not a problem for me but would be for someone with mobility issues. Once inside the room, it was very basic indeed. Tired furniture, crumbling paint, broken / missing tiles in the bathroom. Stained toilet. No proper shower, just a handheld sprayer. No cups or glasses. Aircon non-functional, so being January, the room was freezing cold all the time and clothes were damp in the morning. Lights above the bed not working (no bulbs in them). Restaurant often not open in the evening & a rather dull bar closed the first night I was there at 2020h!Oh, and in an adjacent building is a very loud karioki joint that most nights goes into the very early hours strangling the cat. Don't expect to get much sleep, especially if you are at the front of the hotel. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable & the staff were friendly.Location isn't great - takes a few minutes to walk to a bit of a beach with no facilities. There are a couple of small restaurants / cafes within walking distance but you really have to go down to the Medina area (which is around a 25 minute walk or taxi) to get a bit of choice. Overall, this hotel is cheap but not very cheerful in my view. How it can be described as three stars is well beyond me. I moved to another hotel before the end of my stay, even though I had pre-paid, which probably says it all really.

    Never again

    rating07 Aug 2023

Defined never again.1.Family room with stinking ashtray and no options to change it.2.Food been served absolutely same, breakfast -2 boiled eggs,baguette,sausages.Lunch-Turkey,pasta,salad Dinner-same as lunch!!! And now something unbelievable-they don't serve any drink on lunch or dinner,so you have to go in local shop to buy it.3. Shower you need to hold,it's not fixed to the wall(many rooms like that)4. Swimming pool smells as Domestos,to much chlorine and time to use Swimming pool is restricted 0900-18005. On the beach I been asked to pay extra 20 dinars for deck chair, thank you after talk with hotel manager thedont charge.6.Main conditions off the hotel is like you traveling in the time to 1990.Advice: if traveling with kids think well before you go there! If you like adventure and you are hard nut as Bear Grill this hotel for you!
