    Probably the best 'basic' hotel I have ever stayed in. Excellent value for money....one or two slightly dated fixtures and fittings, but, knowledgeable, informative reception, friendly attentive staff, comfortable air conditioned room, relaxing pool area, great location, varied tasty menu options within hotel and many restaurants close by....more than make up for any minor deficiencies....for £28 a night in Scotland I make be lucky to pay for a tent pitch...

    We visited the beach les citronniers almost daily. We were always received with kindness by Rambo and his staff who provide excellent service. Upon arrival you are immediately helped to a seat or lounger with umbrella (depending on what you prefer).Rambo and staff are always accessible and helpful to make your stay as pleasant as possible and fulfill your wishes to the extent possible. In addition, it is quite remarkable that Rambo himself cleans the beach before closing time! From 'stray' napkins, crown corks, cigarette butts... everything is cleaned up. We have not seen this happen at any other beach and are happy to show our token of appreciation.

    special thanks to the hotel beach keeper Rambo for his care and hospitality , his seriousness and for the safety with which he carries out his work! Thank you very much RAMBO, the beach is always well kept.and we saw him cleaning the beach to make sure everyone enjoy the most of it .

    Outstanding hotel Tunisian family owned High standard of cleanliness Friendly helpful staff Comfortable bed compact bathroom with 24 hour hot water Often not the situation with 4/5 star hotels Excellent restaurant on site open until midnight with large varied menu Basic breakfast available for 10TD but other options are available A good sized outdoor pool well looked after in terms of cleanliness Highly recommended Excellent value for money Looking forward to next visit

    We didn't stay here this time but went to eat there twice. We found this little gem in 2001 on a last minute deal. After many years we had to change hotel due to husbands motability problems it's a walk to the beach. We were greeted like long lost family. I would highly recommend this hotel it's only 2 star but the staff are five star. The scampi and chips and chicken citronniers are to die for. Our favourite Tunisian wine Muscat de kalibra is only 24 dinars compared to 38 dinars everywhere else. Even if your not staying here I would highly recommend going for a meal.
